Harps Food Stores — Local services in Roland

I don’t usually make review like this, I rarely post ever.

But I just left the Harps in Roland, and I have never been treated so rudely in my life. I was just trying to get some chicken from the deli. I walk up to the counter, the lady says nothing, just walks off but then I see her on the phone, so I say ok, she must be taking an order, no big deal. But then I see her get off that call and take several more calls all while I’m standing there, and never even acknowledges my presence. So I finally say, ma’am can you help me please I just need some chicken real quick. She says, can’t you see I’m busy? Like huh? And I say, don’t worry about it, I’ll just go to customer service, she says, so go on!

So to customer service I go. I said ma’am I can use some help in the deli, that lady is rude and not acknowledging my presence.

Her exact words, “ yeah we’ve been having problems with her and her attitude”

Manager lady goes to deli lady and says hey can you get her what she needs please?

Deli lady: no I’m not helping her.

Me: 😳, stares at manager lady in disbelief Also me: are you going to do something?

Manager lady: like what?

Me: IDk be the manager and make her do her job? If not, can you at least get me some chicken? That is all I want after all

Manager lady: I’m a manager but not her manager so I can’t really tell her what to do. And I don’t work back here so I can’t get you anything.

So I just left, very frustrated and almost in tears. I will never...

My family and I have had the most wonderful shopping experience coming into this store. You guys are amazing and go above and beyond to help your customers. I am disabled and fighting cancer, we also have a special needs child. You guys not only have been so warm and welcoming. Today we had an older lady hit my car with her car door. One of the amazing managers named Kip (I pray I spelled that right) was outstanding! I told him what happened and he immediately took matters into his hands. He called the Nonemergncy police number for us. The officer came and was so so nice also. This truly was a great blessing finding you all. The other Manager Chris is also outstanding. So is wonderful Darren and sweet Madison. You all have treated us so kindly. We truly appreciate you all and what you guys do. Finding this store has been a giant blessing.weve now stopped coming in this store as often. I was just in there today and bought a head of lettuce. Came home cut it open and it’s brown and slimy and rotten. This store sells rotten food soooooo often. Most of their meat is bad, then now produce is rotten. We now go to the Spiro harps. I don't recommend this place they don't treat their employees well at all and they still don't pay minimum wage they also don't like to give their employees raises I had a friend that had been working there since she started working. They also got rid of her mom because she was disabled she went on a leave for surgery when she came back they gave her position to someone else who does not do a good job and I'm pretty sure is a freaking drug addict she looks like she is on something every time we go in there and acts like she is on something but their reasoning was because she was disabled she didn't need that position they wanted her to go to a checking position where she has to stand all day long and she can't do that so basically they put her in a position to make her quit. Instead of firing her because I knew they would get in trouble. To be honest I don't know why this company is even still running at this point prices are too high Walmart is cheaper and you get better customer service at Walmart at this...
