GameStop — Local services in Rolla

I am disabled with back issues and have to walk with a cane and I went to get a Nintendo switch for my kids and waited outside in line. I was told there were only 3 for sale if you didn't pre-order one. When the people with pre-orders were called in at 10:30 pm I was number 3 so I knew I was going to get one so I stayed in line. They finally let the none pre-orders in at around 11:15 and there were some people that were ahead of me and the other 2 customers that where already in the store before we walked in. They came in with the pre-orders and where not in line with us. When the pre-orders got done getting there consoles at midnight the rest of us started move to the registers. I finally got to the front and was told they were out. I and some of the other people in line then told the employees that I was the 3rd person in line and one of the employees said that the guy that got one who was not in line for the none pre-orders was there since 11:00. At which point I told the employee do you think if I was not 100% sure that I was one of the 3 that I would have put my disabled self through the pain of waiting hours the other guys behind me thought it was wrong and messed up. I do wounder if the guy that was already in the store when we walked in was an employee or a friend of a employee and that's why he got to go in with the pre-orders if so I find that even more messed up. I have called the home office and told them what happened so that they might have a chance to fix it some how. We will have to wait and see what they do or find out if even care about there disabled customers or see if they just try and...

Busy and crowded. Really hard to get around and to get help. I was buying a game for my grandson and I know nothing about this stuff. I needed help and it was very hard to find help and very hard to get to the desk. The store was packed with people, the desk was in the back of the store, the employees did not seem to want to leave the desk, they pointed to a spot and guided me from their position, as they yelled at me. Not impressed. I will just order online from Amazon. I support local business, just not this one! 😥 Sorry guys, I gave them three separate chances ...all three...

I went in pricing the switch lite. They had 1 used one not labeled yet, I asked the staff (who had it behind the counter with her playing games on it) the cost. She said we only have this one I'm playing... I told her I wanted the price. She didn't seem to want to give it up, but the price she told me was 197.00.... a new one cost 199. I laughed and asked why no discount on used and she said that it was weird and the way it was and went on playing on it. I went to Walmart and bought a new OLED...
