I purchased a new "liquid glass" screen protector from the TCC Store in Rolla, Missouri. Within a month, I dropped my phone and the screen cracked, which the provider assured was very unlikely to happen because this product "used nanotechnology to change the phone on a molecular level and would make other products obsolete." My dissatisfaction with the product, though, is secondary to my dissatisfaction with the manner in which I was treated as a customer at the store. I returned to the store for help with the warranty and getting my phone repaired. The manager was defensive, arrogant, and insulting. When my husband and I expressed confusion, we were met with impatience. The manager seemed as though he just did not want to be bothered with our questions. Instead of trying to help us navigate our way to a solution, he would respond with comments such as, "What do you want me to do about it?" I told him that we had not been informed that if we had problems with the product we would have to send my phone through the mail to be fixed, and that we were given the impression that we would simply need to return to the store to have any problems addressed. He, very rudely, responded by saying, "MOST people know this." Had this been explained to us when we purchased the product, we would not have driven the 60 miles to return to the store. His tone and manner suggested that both my husband and I were just stupid. We left having received absolutely no help. My family has frequented this business several times in the past, and we would have probably returned to this location for our next phone upgrades, but after this experience, we will never return to this location again. We were made to feel ignorant and unimportant. After making the original sale, they were done with us and we were on our own. I wish I could give a zero rating, but that was...
Read moreRude for no reason. I went in and said my son needed a new phone, and that I thought I should be eligible for a free phone for upgrading my phone plan because I’m on an old plan. The worker responded “Well, the older your plan is the less likely you are to get a new phone so probably not.” I was taken aback by their dismissive tone and said that my app indicated that I should be eligible for an upgrade. They went into detail telling me all the reasons I was probably not eligible before even checking my line. They then told me I would have to pay an activation fee, taxes, and other possible fees as well. Most of this information was delivered in such a manner that made me believe I was inconveniencing this person. I stated that I was sorry for bothering them & that I wouldn’t be in the store if I didn’t have to be, to which the worker responded they wouldn’t be there if they didn’t have to be, either. I was so put off with the “service” that I opted to leave without spending a dime. I rather got the impression that the worker would have preferred I not spend any money there, so lesson...
Read moreWorst experience ever. Added two lines to my phone plan. Had to order one in because store was out only to later find out they did have the phone in the store they just hadn’t checked there shipment in. Was told it would be in store within two days. One week later no phone. We had already paid for phone and taxes upfront. Finally get a call phone is in. We go to the Verizon store in Rolla to pick up phone and have it added to our account. We sat for over an hour waiting for the sales person to finish with her current customer for her to walk over and lock the door and asked us to come back tomorrow they are closing. When my husband politely said no we have been sitting here for over an hour the sales attendant became very rude with my husband. Never will I ever buy anything from Rolla Verizon again. Ended up having to call Verizon corporate office to file a formal complaint and to resolve my...
