So my wife an I a preparing for a weekend in DC. I'm a golfer, so the PGA store attracted my attention. The woman behind the counter looked so disinterested I thought I'd chat her up. "You surrreee seem like you don't wanna be here" I said. Her reply, which took a while was a simple, "who me?" (my wife in the back, no one else in the store). I finally got an "uhhh. I'm ok." Never a smile, never a greeting.
