Bought a car from them and within 2 weeks the check engine light came on. I called them and they said they would check it when they gave me my permanent license plates. A few days later when I went to pick up the plates the light had turned off on its own but they still scanned it and it showed the engine had misfired. They said that if it came back on or got worse to bring it back and they would take care of it. (They have a 30 day 50% warranty for engine / transmission problems that comes with the car.)
Light came back on after a few days and engine was noticeably shaking. I called them and said the problem was back and it was getting worse, and then they told me that they wouldn’t cover anything because engine misfires aren’t covered. Are you kidding me? What’s even the point of this 30 day warranty?
I took the car to a mechanic who replaced the spark plugs and ignition coils for $800. Light came back on again. Took it to a different mechanic who said the intake manifold also needs to be replaced (along with some other things) and it’s going to be another $1400 minimum.
I really wanted to leave a good review for this place because everyone seemed nice when I was buying the car, but having ENGINE problems before I even have my permanent license plates and being told they aren’t willing to help at all isn’t right. I have to spend over $2000 fixing the car before I even make my first car payment. Wish I had...
Read moreI purchased a vehicle from Sam's and I wanted to have some time with the car before writing a review. It has been a month since owning the car I purchased. The interior of the car was fantastic minus the headliner(No big deal) the exterior of the car great and I was fairly pleased. I have been checking the fluids on the car often to make sure everything is okay. once a week I check the oil in the car and i notice it is VERY LOW, the oil not even showing up on the stick. One of the guys from the dealer topped the oil off on the stick when i was looking at the car because it was a little low which cars do loose a little bit of oil, the guy said that the "Turbo" will cause the car to burn oil which I do get but I shouldn't have to put almost (2 QUARTS) of oil in the car EVERY WEEK!! I took his word on the oil burning from the turbo but i didn't think id be spending $14.00 a week for synthetic oil for this car. This is my honest review for this dealership I'm pleased with the condition of the car as far as this issue I am just going to have to stick it out until I can get it looked at. UPDATE 1 Year later TRANSMISSION...
Read moreI reached out to them via email about test driving a minivan and they responded in about 10 minutes. They provided more information about the vehicle and provided the times that the shop was open. I called to say that I was coming to test drive the vehicle and they had the vehicle plated and ready for the drive. At the end of the test drive I decided that I wanted the vehicle and he took a small downpayment to hold the vehicle for me. We came to an agreement on the price and a deal was made. The car was ready when I called to say that I was picking it up, 10 mins worth of paperwork and I was on my way. I waited until after I got my plates to write this review because I was waiting for something to go wrong, but before the expiration of my temporary plate the actual plates arrived and they plated the vehicle for me. I would visit this dealer again and again, this is everything that a used car dealership...
