BEWARE: 70% markup on an unpriced wine bottle + NO REFUNDS

I bought two bottles of wine, one had a price tag and the other did not. When I checked out, it came out to $40. $6 for the one with a price tag, which means the unpriced one was $34.

I didn't realize that there was not a price tag until after I paid. I went to my car confused on why it was $40. I went back inside and asked for a refund. The unmarked bottle of wine retails for $20, even if there was a markup which is understandable, but this was a 70% markup! Unbelievable! I do not recall the cashier scanning the bottle. I believe he just manually punched in the amount, but that is just my speculation.

The cashier gave me a hard time then proceeded to call his boss. He said he cannot give me a refund.
