So I've never shopped in an antique store before and a friend of mine brought me by to show me their comic collection. I spent about $30 on about 8 comics and left. Afterwards I realized I did an impulse buy and went back the next day to return them. Now if you shop at antiques stores regularly, apparently all sales are final. I did not know this, nor was I told this or even given a receipt that says this. When I went in the next day and was told this I asked to speak with the owner which was the person I was already talking to. I was told over and over again that they couldn't help me. Even after explaining that I was not told this nor given a receipt. The only sign that said this was on the other side of counter where you don't even stand to check out. Oh and the person who did ring me out the day before was a co-owner apparently. I know going forward that with antique stores, sales are final, but in this situation the owner should of make an exception. Very poor customer service whether or not it was an impulse buy. I needed the money back to help after paying...
Read moreI have several stores I love on 3rd Street in Rosenberg and this one falls in my top. If I only have a a short time to "play", this will be my first stop. Friendly helpful staff, always!!!!!! The vendors selections are varied , truly having a little something for everything...but be aware, merchandise moves quick! If you see it, love it, then buy it!
