We purchased an inspired 5’ x 5’ bowling alley masterpiece table around year 2000. Yes, it was wood from a demolished bowling alley. Working with Hawkins was an amazing experience. He was so kind, friendly, giving and listened while designing our table exactly as we envisioned for our growing young family and the perfect fit for the space in our kitchen. We purchased six chairs and four barstools as well! Since then, our beloved table has stood the test of time, helping us create countless memories throughout the years whether around the table, or conversations sitting at the bar!! Today, in 2024, our beautiful bowling alley wooden table and 6 chairs have a new home at our eldest son and daughter-in-love’s beautiful home. He says he wants to see their children eating breakfast, doing homework,, having family meetings and family dinners just as he experienced! It gives me great joy to report our table stands proudly and perfectly as it did on its first day in our home. Hawkins doesn’t build tables, buffets, and all other sorts of treasures; he creates moments of love, strong connections, great communication! There are too many to name! It’s an exceptional talent he possesses to create such beautiful works of art. He is an inspiration! I can’t say enough good about the Hawkins Company. I’ll start with polite, knowledgeable, talented, and the store is beautiful. The delivery is right on point. Lastly and what has left me with the biggest impression is the beautiful table I enjoy looking at every day. It’s like living in a pecan tree. Squirrels don’t have it so bad after all. The table makes me stop and pause and realize the beauty in God’s hands... and Hawkin’s talent 😁 I hope to buy many more...
