BR Vino — Restaurant in Rosenberg

I just recently moved to this area and wanted to find a nice place to go on a date with my boyfriend. Since now living in a small town, I was worried we wouldn't be able to find what I was looking for. And I am glad I came across this place!

This place is perfect whether you are looking for a hangout with friends, a place to take your date, or for any occasion. It was small and hard to find but was well worth the stay. They have beer and wines that we had never heard of before so we were able to try all new things. They would let you taste as much wine as you wanted before making a decision on what bottle or glass you would like. The waitress was amazing. She simple asked us what kind of wine and beer we liked and she brought what she thought we would enjoy. And she was spot on! She was helpful and friendly the whole time and never made us feel like we were a burden by so many sample. She was very informative too!

The back patio was beautiful. It gave an Austin vibe and was a away from the street so you heard no cars. I am even still kicking myself for not taking home a bottle of definitely the best wine I've had...I will for sure go back to this place! To get that bottle and enjoy more beer and wines. They recently hired a new cook. The food has gone totally downhill. They offer catering. I hired them to do some catering for a huge birthday party. They didn’t make any of the items I ordered. The new cook tried to blame the old cook. But the fact is the new cook had been there over a month. This is plenty of time to get situated. They didn’t even call to let me know there were any issues. A week before the event I went and spoke with the owner in person and he assured me everything was fine. This is bad business. I did get my money back but what does that do after the fact. Bottom line the items were not available for my party. I do not recommend...

I love this little spot that rests in a historic building. It's next to all of the historic hot spots. Go there to have some wine, listen to music, eat finger foods, and find home made goodies. Sometimes, they have events like wine tastings. This could be a great date night spot or study area. There's an antique store connected to it, so you have to visit that as well.
