The merchandising here is dangerous and atrocious. Not only that, they think it's OK to start making "get out the store" announcements, one hour before closing and refusing to cash out Gift Card balances under $10 per California State Law. THANKS BARBARA! IVE CONTACTED CORPORATE ABOUT YOU. Sounds like you want your company sued because you dare not take the extra five minutes to give me $7.00. How many others are there? I'm not trying to go back and shop in that trip hazard of a store again especially with how I was treated.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Home Goods. They have high quality, name brand merchandise. Their displays are full of decorating ideas. Most of the items are reasonably priced for what you're purchasing. Especially, the bedding and cookware. The pet products are pricy. My only suggestion, is having the employees approach customers to see if they can help them. I walked by seven different employees and none of them asked if they could help me. Instead, they were talking to each other about their personal lives. IG: SACRAMENTOHONEY

Homegoods is the perfect place to shop for most any home decor, its the perfect place to pick up staging items, or if you just want to freshen up your home decor without breaking the bank. Personally it’s like one big giant yard sale, their is seriously something for everyone, sometimes you can find some very nice hidden gems and other times not so much, so it’s worth popping in and browsing the isles to see if anything catches your eye! Have fun, I know my friends and I do!

Ahh. HomeGoods. The affordable, brick and mortar version of Restoration Hardware, Pottery Barn, Joss and Main, et all. The chain owned by TJX from MA. TJX also owns a number of stores under the Home Style brand. The eclectic stock mix varies by location and really, it's a store you have to visit to find out if they have X in stock. The answer is always no, but they will have Y and W, together with a Z and V which you never considered but would work and you are sending pictures from your phone desperately seeking agreement from someone........ HomeGoods' buyers are really good. The downside is it's hard to get assistance. The staff try, but really it's impossible to know all their stock, labels are sadly bereft of detail and all possess that retail cunning that takes them off the floor at exactly the time you need help. Seriously, I actually put a stop watch on last time I was there. The three star rating is harsh but fair. They will have something suitable at an affordable price and that odd piece you didn't know you needed, but the store is cluttered, narrow aisles and seems to be scuffy. But that is the volume of stock... Be warned. Stock varies by location. If you see it and...

If I could I'd put ZERO for the customer service of this store. My wife has gotten a terrible experience there. There was situation when she and another customer wanted to buy the same stuff. Even though my wife was there first and there were two items which should be divide for each of them, the manager Cindy made a decision to do a favor to another customer and let her buy these two items by leaving my wife with nothing. There wasn't first time when stuff in that store treat people with an accent differently. Do you think that is fair, do you think people who live in US for many years, work, raise children, and pay taxes here, should feel themselves like people of second sort?!! In my opinion it is not right and that manager should be fired because she can not do her job according to their store policy. Please write a review if you had a similar experience...

This store has everything for the home! It's almost overwhelming. They have walls of crystal vases, home decor up the wazoo, unique pieces of furniture, bath and kitchen accessories that you've probably never seen or will never use (LOL)...

A couple things:

  1. do not forget your receipt! If you need to return something it will take forever with the system they have in place - even just for store credit.
  2. This store is messy! And, more importantly, their displays are quite dangerous - last time I went, they had sets of delicate trays on their sides (ready to fall over), behind heavy glass vases on the top shelves of their end-aisles. :/ I imagine lots of products either get broken, or people get hurt... Keep your little...
