I have repeatedly asked for a referral to dermatology for lesions on my face over the past two years. The GP's have continually blasted them with freezing agent and refused to refer me to dermatology. One larger place on my face which has been apparent through several visits was overlooked. My most recent visit my GP registered deep concern about the areas on my face. On my recent visit, two areas were frozen, the other two were photographed and finally sent to Dermatology, but now, I fear these places could have metastasized. I am told that while I will finally get a referral after asking for two years for a dermatology visit, and filing a grievance that was denied, I was told my referral has been accepted to Dermatology BUT I'm told it will be weeks before I can see someone. I am considering an outside complaint as well as the second internal one I just filed. A friend who had lesions on her face, who lives in Oakland was able to see a dermatologist within 2 days, and was referred to the WC derm center for MOHs within a week. I would not recommend the Roseville Riverside - Roseville Dermatology dept. to anyone. Further, when I first came to Roseville in 2019, the physicians could call a dermatologist into their office to see their patient and they looked me over front and back. They removed skin cancer on my chest. The referral process at Kaiser Riverside, to dermatology has completely deteriorated. The two GP's I've seen have relied on continual freezing but they are not dermatologists and I fear they are being told not to refer patients. The result of not being trained dermatologist is they they froze one spot twice which has come back with a vengeance that probably should have been referred after it came back a second time, and they totally missed a large area on the left side of my nose, which I fear may result in extensive surgery and hopefully it hasn't already metastasized. It has always been on my records that my mother died of Melanoma, it's been added that I have had skin cancer, and unless I personally point out areas on my body that I observe my skin does not get checked like it did down in the bay area. In my opinion, this has been substandard, poor medical care. To say I am upset with Kaiser would be an understatement...
Read moreGood morning Kaiser customer service My current family Doctor doing good job with care and follow up with my ER treatment. But not all other family doctors doing their job as such as my previous Family Doctor and my wife’s Family doctor currently that they did not care patient as when myself and my wife tried many times to reach the doctor office via Kaiser call center system to set up an appointment thru several advisor nurses which took too much time (an hour or more) to ask and have to answer with the SAME robotic repeatedly health questions!!! Then we still have wait for a day or more to have advisor to contact doctor office, then maybe or maybe not to call us back if any appointment available!! Even though just ask for a phone or video appointment if cannot get a visit at doctor office if Doctor not available. Some times Some advisor nurses after asked several questions then determine what type of disease and told myself or my wife to use OTC medication to treat for Abdominal pain that she though that caused by Stomach ulcers?!!!! I did not understand if those adviser nurses at Kaiser have a licenses to do diagnostic and give patients over the phone a treatment and prescription as such??! Recently, I found out from relatives in Bay Area that Kaiser has Urgent care department in South Sacramento, so I can’t wait for her family doctor anymore after my wife had 5 days constantly with abdominal pain uncomfortable with pain or some time have sharp pain so yesterday I had to brought my wife to visit with Urgent care walk in service at 6600 Bruceville South Sacramento CA 95823. This urgent care office of Kaiser next to ER building even just a small Office less staff, less nurses and used ER doctor but doing good job, much faster nicer and more professional than compare with ER front desk staffs at Kaiser 1600 eureka Roseville with a lot of staff sitting in front desk Not doing his/her jobs as such At Eureka ER. In Roseville CA. Even we stay at urgent care from 6 to 9:30 pm but then we know what going on with our health condition and have a better diagnosis from a licensed doctors with ultrasound testing which gave a better idea of treatment that can help patients ASAP. Read moreI recently had a consultation with Dr. Michael Jude Jardiel Yambot. Initially, he extended a warm welcome. Throughout our conversation, I provided details regarding my prior medical history before transitioning to Kaiser, expressing concerns about my liver, back issues, and neck injury. Regrettably, my apprehensions were dismissed by Dr. Yambot, who attributed my liver problems to exercise and suggested that my gym activities were causing harm to my body. Furthermore, he implied that my back and neck issues were a consequence of insufficient knowledge about gym routines, advising me to allow time for natural healing.
Despite my substantial background in fitness, including a career as a personal trainer since 2005, Dr. Yambot exhibited a condescending and passive-aggressive demeanor, neglecting to address my concerns. When I inquired about a testosterone level check, he responded dismissively, questioning whether it was motivated by personal insecurities. This initial encounter at Kaiser has prompted me to actively seek a new healthcare provider, as Dr. Yambot's attitude was unprofessional and left me feeling unsupported. Towards the end of our conversation, it seemed he was eager to conclude abruptly.
During our discussion about my back, he made a perplexing statement, suggesting that they would simply "chop it off" and asking if I was prepared for such a measure. This raised significant confusion, as my interactions with other doctors had presented various alternatives for addressing my back stenosis. I felt a lack of trust in Dr. Yambot, and I believe his approach posed a potential threat to my well-being. The lack of professionalism in his practice has likely led to multiple complaints. It is my sincere hope that no lives have been endangered due to his negligence. In my opinion, Dr. Yambot should not be permitted to continue practicing, and termination of his medical privileges...
