Roseville Aquatics Complex — Local services in Roseville

You have to wonder how ignorant someone can be that they would schedule construction changes during the season rather then at the end or several months in advance. This is a large aquatic center used by many that will now be punished due to incompetence. I recently went to this facility and I have to admit I was impressed with how clean and organized everything seem to be. The two managers that were on duty definitely impressed. As for the lifeguards on duty they need to be a whole lot friendlier especially because of all the kids they are dealing with. Another observation on how poorly the public swim system is run in Roseville is that it's the only system not offering swimming on a daily basis. Example Folsom,Natomas, Sacramento and even Elk Grove and that also includes Rancho Cordova offer it daily but the city trying so hard to be the best can't get it done. Instead it does seem to excel in the excuse department. Here it again proof that the Roseville pool system isn't here for citizens of Roseville what the heck are they doing closing up shop in August the hottest month of the year. I like to take my kids here on hot days and let them have fun. This is a cute facility and I haven't had any real problems until recently.

My 7 year old son comes here with his Grandpa during the afternoon. But has had problems with a few of the male lifeguards being mean to him here lately.Making him squat, asking him why he's squatting and then not letting him on the water slide when smaller children are going down the water slide. Talking to children in a rude way(and my child was not being rude or disobedient). I know they are teenagers/ young adults only here for a summer job, so nothing will come of this. I have called and left a message for the supervisor, but who knows if he'll even call back. I want parents to be aware this is happening. I guess some young adults get a little authority and they don't...

Thank you for the visit to the aquatic center. It was hot and as a grandma having a hard time with a 2 year old and 3 year old. I brought safry devices to keep them afloat. They were not properly certified but life guuards directed me to where I could use yours for the day. Thank you so much. In the process there was an emergency with a bloody nose with a swimmer. My 3 year old freak 3rd out and wouldn't go in the water and kept saying she didn't want a bloody nose. After about half hour of trying to calm her down I decided to leave. I mentioned it at front office and I was so surprised to get a full refund. Seriously with the heat and crying I was so done and it just lifted my spirits that your center was so professional and kind at the same time....
