Shoppers World (Merrillville) — Local services in Ross Township

Went into the store for the Thanksgiving sale. Went for some items that were advertised in a circular for their sale starting on Thanksgiving and continuing through Black Friday. Unfortunately, some of the items that were Advertised that were going on sale Thanksgiving day were in short supply. For instance, there were license children’s pajamas listed, but they only had two different selections of License character, pajamas, to choose from.(I got there before the doors open that day, so the selections weren’t sold out). That being said, they did have plenty of other things that I came for they were on sale. Prices were very reasonable and quality was good. The store was a little crowded with merchandise, but that’s to be expected around The holidays. All the employees were extremely helpful and pleasant. Shoppers world is a trash company to work for because you can't have one person doing the work of four other people that's why there's always crap on the floor and products all over the place no tags on items customers always complained to me about why items don't have tags if you work there you climb ladders pull heavy things but nobody else does it and everything They sell is overpriced I can get the same items somewhere else for a better price all the time The only good thing is maybe the shirts for $1.98 and that's it everything overpriced yes trash management trash teamwork trash working there horrible... No place to try on your clothes because I don't give you a place to try anything on and then you can't use the bathroom. The floors are dirty nasty why can't they polish them 😂 You don't get paid enough for the amount of things you need to learn and you don't get enough team support for the things that need to be done...

The store offers a variety of children (baby to teen) trendy clothing at a reasonable price and pretty good in quality. I was not impressed with the quality of women's jewelry, purses, shoes, and clothing. Household items were plentiful, but some not the best quality.

Store appears to be short staffed, however, staff was pleasant and willing to provide assistance. The store appeared to be overstocked with items and was cluttered with more boxes of items waiting to be unpacked and stocked and...
