Strack & Van Til — Local services in Ross Township

I like the store. It is always very clean when you come inside, they have a variety of different fruits and vegetables. That’s my favorite section in the store. It’s always fresh and I can always get what I need for a pretty reasonable price. Some of the people that work in there are always in the way, I don’t like that when you’re trying to get your food they pretend like they have to stock the food or shells while you’re getting your stuff and they look at you like you’re wrong for getting your groceries. Which I’m not sure why they do that I like that everything is pretty easy to find because I like a store where you know your grocery store and where to find things quickly they have a nice used scan area when needed. The most memorable part of my visit was a lady I came in about 7 o’clock in the morning she was older and she was very knowledgeable about the store and she helped me to get my groceries quickly and she was very kind and I really appreciate that and that she took the opportunity to smile and get her job done even though there were other customers in the line she did not let them bother her why assisting different customers and I really appreciate that a lot. A smile goes a long way the parking lot and we congested at this location. You just have to be careful when driving there and which is not the Store‘s fault it’s just the area that is in overall I get the Store two thumbs up. I come here all the time and...

I waited at the bakery for over 30mins to pick up my grandmas cake and the lady seemed agitated with me because I had to call the store from my cell to get service. I then went to the deli and requested 2lbs of pickeled beets but got "pickled beets? I ain't never heard about no pickled beets!" So I pointed to them a couple if feet from the deli clerk and that was after waiting 10 mins with 1 customer in front of me. I'm up from milwaukee and it just ruined my day to see the service of this store. The day before when we were there ordering the cake my grandma requested 50 chicken wings and was told they wouldnt sell her 50 wings to pick up and suggested we go to sharks chicken or Jjs chicken to obtain. Then you have canned goods in 3 isles and when I asked whom seemed like a stock boy where the baked beans were he said " you didn't look down the can isle?" And proceeded to take me down the same wrong isle I had been down and I said forget it. I discovered where they...

The ladies in the deli area are thy absolute worst customer service ever. BAD ATTITUDES is a under statement. After standing there over 20 minutes I was finally able to get the deli cashier to assist me. She walked up with plastic gloves on in which she was previously using to do everything under the sun with them on. (Touching doors, trash can and other food items.) I polite asked if she would please change her gloves before touching my items. She rolled her eyes and smacked her lips walking off talking underneath her breath. She changed her gloves but than touched a cart. I asked again that she change her plastic gloves again and not to touch other surfaces before touching my food items. She was rude and spoke to another employee than twisting her neck to roll her eyes. The store is actually pretty nice but the bad customer service is overwhelming. I will never visit this ghetto...
