Schedule visit over a month in advance. Mind you this is testing for potential cancer. This is not a blood pressure check up, or some other thing that can just cavalierly be canceled. Having to wait for a month for an appointment when you think you might have cancer is stressful enough. And the fact that they don't even bother having a person call is absolutely ridiculous. Pre charged for visit. Their policy says they will cancel if I'm late. Their policy says fill out paperwork to avoid coming in 1/2 hr earlier. Who is going to pay for all of the money that we lost because of their incompetence? They list all sorts of requirements that must be met by the patient, but then they are not required to treat their patient with any sort of respect regarding schedule at all.
I closed my business for the day, my boyfriend didn't go to work for the day both which cost us tons of money. 45 minutes into our drive to make sure we made our appointment on time, we get a generic text from the office stating that due to "unforeseen circumstances appointment is canceled." Not delayed, not postponed but canceled. Supposedly their office is going to be calling to reschedule but four hours later, still no word from them. is it a coincidence this is a day after a holiday weekend? Tried calling them and of course no one answers the phone. Tried calling the main office to speak to a scheduling manager to try to figure out how to get this to still happen today. Of course they are unavailable.
Waited for over a month for this appointment. It is bad enough that the appointment was canceled, but canceled during our commute to the appointment, with no personal communication just an automatic text, and no follow up as promised to reschedule. VERY...
Read moreI have been a patient at this OBGYN clinic since 2020 and gave birth here in 2021. However, my recent experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. I have been trying to schedule an annual exam since March, but they rarely answer the phone, and when they do, I’m told there are no available appointments. Despite being promised call-backs multiple times, they never followed through.
When I finally managed to speak with someone, the staff was rude and dismissive. They offered appointments at a distant location without informing me clearly at first. When I called to clarify, I was treated with even more rudeness. At one point, the staff member asked for my name and date of birth in a very disrespectful tone, and when I repeated myself, she rudely said ‘What?!’ and then dropped the phone on me. This level of unprofessionalism and poor customer service is unacceptable. I would give them a 0-star review if I could. I do not recommend this clinic to anyone looking for reliable and...
Read moreFIRST TIME MOMS BEWARE I am no longer a patient at Ascension Seaton due to their negligence. I was actively miscarrying with my first pregnancy, I called the nurse triage line and was met with a voicemail saying " our line is busy, leave a message and we will get back to you". No one ever called me back, I ended up going to the hospital.
Not only that, I asked for early bloodwork before my 8 week appointment for progesterone and HCG. My progesterone came back in range but barely. I asked via phone and via portal for Dr. Benedict to review my levels and never got back to me. After the miscarriage I saw my old OB and she confirmed that I lost the baby due to low progesterone ( which I had tracked daily with the Intio app, this is why I knew I was low). My baby would have survived if I had just had a progesterone rx but Dr. Benedict & staff never...
