I was a walk in and there was no wait which was good. I sat down and everything was fine till he asked how the line up looked. It was so slanted I was worried he might have one leg shorter than the other. I told him it was and he proceeded to try and fix it, got it almost straight. After he fixes it and it looks close enough that I can't really tell it is not straight I get up and pay the 17 dollars and leave going about what I had planned for that day. Couple hours later I'm home and I am able to brush my hair and get a good look at it. The line was still not straight, the top of my hair was in even and even had a small chunk missing in the front from where he tried to line, and the sides leading to the top jumped from a 1 to what was suppose to be a 3 guard with not enough blending. This was the most amazing experience I have ever had in any establishment. From the easy to use website and I gave a call to ask if they have a pro with a child with special needs (son is autistic struggles with haircuts) the young man an apprentice answered and was polite and didn’t deny any skill he said anyone of their barbers would be up to the challenge and told me to get on the website and look over the barbers and times . Upon coming in my son was uneasy but Freddie gave such an amazing vibe spoke to my son like any other child and assisted me in holding my son and allowed to sit with him. I have never seen such grace and understanding in a human. My son allowed him to shave with multiple clippers and scissors the edger was a little frightening but Freddie did absolutely amazing and all the other barbers were sweet and inviting and no looks of disgust were given which I’m used too. Didn’t use a straight razor for any part of the fade, didn’t even clean anything up with a foil shaver either. Used clippers and clippers only. Ended up looking like I got a cut in my backyard from a homie. Not to mention they cut me a tiny bit while doing the line up so probably a good thing they didn’t use a straight razor. I would have mentioned the quality/not using a razor when he handed me the mirror to show me the cut but if that is how he did it to begin with I’d rather just pay and move on to another shop. Not sure if off day/just in a hurry or if new to cutting hair. Didn't get his name but was a taller guy with dreads or braids 2nd from last chair on the right side if you walk in the front door.
