Goody Goody Liquor — Local services in Rowlett

Great selection of liquor, wine, and spirits! The customer service of the employees working is an opportunity. We needed help finding tonic water since we don’t frequent this location. Several employees walked passed us standing there trying to find where to go without asking if we needed help. The two ladies we asked both did not want to assist us. One was a vendor for samples which is understandable. I know working as vendor myself several years ago I didn’t always know how to assist customers. However, the second lady we asked was an employee and she took that opportunity to “teach” my husband how to properly ask for service. Luckily I didn’t hear the entire conversation. That being said we won’t be back. Regardless of the awesome stocked shelves if I have to beg for assistance from an employee that is literally standing at the front as a greeter I will go to a different location. Word to wise who visit…ask “can you show me where this is” and you will get assistance. Only then are you worth to time to be shown where something is...

Have been a few times over the years and selection is great, clean store, and most of the employees are nice and helpful. Came in two weeks ago to pickup a small bottle. Smiled at an older woman working a register and gave her my bottle and asked her if she needed my rewards card. She scanned and said zero points, said my name kinda weird and then went on to rudely explain how the reward system works. I said I was sorry that I don't come in that often but I do remember a worker telling me in the past and that I just didn't remember. She then said nothing and told how much I owed her and that was it she was done. All because I didn't remember the niche rewards system? I thought I was making something out of nothing in my head and so I didn't say anything to my husband when we walked out and just tried to let it go. He was the first to say something which was "She seemed really annoyed with you and she was completely rude." I honestly don't want to...

I'm Disappointed in the Service l received here on last evening... I had just gotten off work. I had on my work clothes with a reflective vest and a cap on my head. I came into the Store, No one Spoke as l entered. I walk the Entire store in search of the liquor l went to buy. No one, asked me if l needed help to find what l wanted... Finally l walked to the front and asked, Where is the Remy? It was in the Front of the Store by the cash register. I was in the Store 20 minutes😡😡😡 By now I'm trying to decide whether l wanted V.S.O.P. or the 1738 and the Young Caucasian cashier asked me "Are you going to buy ANYTHING"?.... That upset me to the Point where l was ready to Walk out the door. But, l asked her, Can l buy it? Is it alright if l buy this liquor???
