This is the experience my Mom had verbatim : What can I say about a beauty shop you walk into that has at least 6 "beauticians" sitting around watching tv and on their phones - who don't even acknowledge the fact that the customer walked through the door and has been standing there waiting (as the only customer) for a friendly 'hello' and 'how may we assist you?'-but instead I got a group of women exchanging glances as if to say "who is going to deal with this lady?"
FINALLY a lady stood up and asked if she could help me-I kindly said yes, and as I followed her to her station I started to explain the cut I wanted, but told her I would like a shampoo before the cut. She looked at me and said that she had JUST gotten her nails done and was concerned she might cut my head with her nails-and after asking 2 of the other beauticians, one finally HUFFED and walked over to shampoo my hair-after the 'unnecessarily vigorous' shampoo - the lady threw a towel over my hair and face-and just went to town scrubbing away at my head and LEFT THE TOWEL ON MY HEAD, COVERING MY FACE - AND WALKED OFF. I sat there quite astounded at the unprofessional and outlandish behavior against me.
At this point I really should have walked out, but, I try to give people the benefit of the doubt. I pulled the towel off my face, got up and went back to the stylist who was suppose to cut my hair. I had a picture of what I wanted , and I understand and don't expect it to be perfect-however, she cut it much shorter in the back than I ever expected....I left confused at all that had happened and very upset altogether.
What I don't get is how can someone operate a business effectively and bring in clientele when the people working there are so unprofessional?? I have never taken the time to write a bad review for any establishment, but I really want to make sure NO ONE is treated the way I was treated at the Two Friends Beauty Salon in...
Read more$20 menâs cuts is a complete joke.
My husband went in with long hair. He was looking for a cut. He has white hair past his shoulders.
The stylist was kind enough to place 2 braids in his hair before she cut it off. I do have 2 braids so thank you for that.
He picked a style from a book.
What I donât understand is you had a perfect palette of long beautiful hair. You literally cut it and made an attempt to blend it and it looks horrible.
I literally asked him if it was a new stylist and he said no it was an older women.
Maâam my husband has beautiful. Long or short. I have never seen such a bad cut on him. You need to brush up on your skills. He came in for a cut and you truly butchered it. You gave him a $20 haircut and it looks like it was a new hair stylist did it. It doesnât blend at his neckline and nor will I send him back for you to fix it. It just needs to grow out and have someone fix what you did. Unfortunately I wonât tell him how horrible it looks in the back. I will just encourage him to get it cut when it is time but definitely not your salon.
I would never recommend your salon for anyone. It truly is sad what you did...
