We were told to pick a spot when we walked in. There was only two occupied tables aside from us! A waitress came and asked for our drink order. I asked for a coke and she rudely said “Dr pepper or Pepsi I already told him” I had been distracted with getting settled so I said sorry Pepsi is fine. 10 mins later we’re still waiting for drinks and menus. I walked to the front and grabbed a couple menus for my husband and I. Our waitress walked out of the kitchen and followed me to the table with the drinks. She barks “Who got the Pepsi?” I looked at my husband confused but I say “uh, me!” She all but slams our drinks down and says “okay what do you want to eat?” My husband tells her we’ll need a few minutes. (I KNOW she saw me walk back with menus and hand one to my husband) She says nothing and walks away. For 15 minutes she stares at our table. We make eye contact multiple times trying to show her we’re ready. We think she’s headed our way a few times and she goes to the bathroom or leans against a counter. When we see her go to the back again I ask my husband if he’s okay with going somewhere else. I walked to the front to pay for our drinks and a lady older than the waitress helps me. She asked me a few questions ultimately trying to smooth things over but it wouldn’t have been worth it. We did not see a single smile on ANY of the staffs faces. Not a good vibe!
We're not a “make a scene” kind of family so we left and walked down to Alejandro’s for...
Read moreI've never left a bad review ANYWHERE.. We ordered combo fajitas for two. Received chicken. I very politely and apologetically requested that we get the combo fajitas. (i'm always extremely polite in situations like this because i'm a firm believer in not upsetting people that prepare your food.) The waitress looked befuddled but said "my fault" after a long pause. Honestly, if she would have said "I thought you said chicken.." I would have just kept them. Again, don't argue with food preparation.. Anyway, she takes the plate and starts being short with us. she goes back to the kitchen and looks upset. At this point i realize she believes the mistake is on ME not the kitchen or herself. I start noticing glares from a young server. I hear them in the back with kitchen staff laughing and both the waitress and other young server are overboard polite when the food is brought out. I'm skeptical of this sudden turn, but we eat. Half way through the meal i see the young server looking at our dish from near the kitchen with a sly smile on her face and she looks into the kitchen smiles larger and nods. we finish and right before the waitress comes over to ask if we need anything else, she whispers to the young server, who then laughs overly loud at the inside joke. we left.. sleep.. the next day? nothing but diarrhea from both my wife and I. ...
Read moreWhat can I say? If you're gonna bad mouth your competition and say you are better in every way, well you should at least have good salsa; It was very salty. The rice and beans were ok. The "Tejas BIG Burrito" was smaller than a fast food's $3 burrito without any of the taste. The chicken in it was tasteless, and that was all that was in the burrito. The same chicken went into all the other chicken dishes we ordered. Blah. When they asked me what I thought I had to be honest and asked who the manager was. I was told it was the person who said they were so good. So I asked who owned the restaurant? And was told it was the cook. Well after my review I expected the owner to come out and talk to me, instead everyone on the staff poked their heads out from the back and those out front got angry with me. Hahaha I really thought it was funny, a simple, I'm sorry you felt that way, from the cook or something would have been fine. But nothing. I asked the bus boy which I think might be related, if he mentioned it to the chef/owner, and he said "yes". So I asked if he cared? And the bus boy , shrugged his shoulders and said "not really, everyone has their own opinion" I could go on but, why?
Now I understand why the competition has...
