Main Street Emporium Ice Cream & Coffee — Restaurant in Royse City

I’ve been going to Emporium since they opened. I was pretty excited because when they first started about a year ago the place was great. Customer service was amazing, staff was attentive and everyone was always on the move. I’m not sure when it all started going downhill, I’m going to assume it was when the place started booming. As a local I was happy to support a local business ,last week not so much. Today I stopped again giving them the benefit of the doubt because we all have bad days, they were rude and the employees could’ve care less. The owner herself is not so friendly, I wish my review was more positive because the place has so much potential, the ice cream is delicious and the place is super clean. I gave them 2 stars because frankly its It’s the customer service that they lack in. I don’t like to support a business we’re in return you are not treated with respect just hostility. What can I say, we have been coming here since practically day one, and we are always met with such friendly faces and welcoming service! I love that they do seasonal drinks and coffees now. I included a picture of one of the Halloween seasonal drinks that was awesome! Their winter and holiday drinks are great too! Also, they have ice cream flights (currently, Dec. ‘23) and you can try pre-selected flights or create your own for a couple dollars more.

Wonderful ice cream, good service, did I say wonderful ice cream?! The only disappointment is that they tend to run out of the best, in my opinion, flavors. So maybe call ahead, because I drove over 30 minutes for a fix, and they were flat out of either of the ones I wanted. I was debating not sharing my favorites because that might cause more "running out," but to be fair, the Honey Badger is amazing, as is the Tiramisu.
