Bel Air — Local services in Sacramento

I have been going to Bel Air on Rush River for most of my life. As I've gotten older the buttercream has gotten to become too sweet so I have been requesting their light 'n fluffy whipped cream. The last year (give or take), I have been having so many issues when requesting their whipped cream topping with any darker color than the "washed out" lavenders or pale pinks or light blues. I understand that the bakery wants the cake to be esthetically pleasing so the bakery's reputation isn't tarnished in any way .. but I've had whipped cream cakes from them with darkened colors ssoooo many times previously and have always loved the outcome.I also understand that there is the possibility of the color bleeding and whatnot, that doesnt matter to me .. I want a cake to eat on my birthday that wont make me sick. And I want to enjoy how it looks. I could be wrong on the name but I believe "Angie" is their bakery supervisor or manager and she basically straight out refused to put any darker color on my birthday cake. I even told her that I've had darker color on whipped cream cakes before and thats how i like it. Even with the push back, ive gotten the darker colors on the cakes. I've had this same conversation with "Angie" before. "Angie" has always been really helpful to me in the past, actually solving any issue I've had. I'm really upset and find it very frustratingly ironic that she's preaching to me "no dark colors on whipped topping cakes" but when I received my cake there is writing on the cake in DARK BLUE writing. Unfortunately I won't be shopping here anymore. I've given this store multiple opportunities over the past year and I'm just fed up. Regardless of whether you buy Foster farms or raley's brand chicken 90% of the time you'll get woody chicken. I also picked up a vacuumed sealed package pork loin and as soon as I opened it it smelled rancid. When I called the store they transferred me to the grumpy butcher who told me to bring it back in to get a refund. Not to mention they are constantly out of cream cheese that isn't strawberry or pecan or pumpkin spice. I was at the store today and they had artisan tomatoes that were rotten and on a couple of occasions their potatoes were covered in fruit flies. They are also randomly out of creamer and eggs And although I'm very fond of the staff here, I may as well go to nugget and get better quality things for the same price if not cheaper. Additionally, I know you can't do anything about ignorant customers not wearing masks, but at the very least your staff and vendors should be...

Went to do my grocery shopping at this rush river location this morning, I hade a couple of La Victoria enchilada sauces in my basket along with my other items! When I got home, I realized that I was missing the enchilada sauces, was not in my plastic bag! Went back to the same checker, not to friendly, I guess she doesn’t like her job? Asked her if she had my cans, she responded that she did not and that I should get it! Showed her my receipt as the cans were the first ones she charged me with! She indicated when I showed her that I got the them, she said 2 cans, I said yes and showed her the receipt! She said she didn’t what to the cans she originally charged me!! She sounded like she did not trust me! No apology or anything for not placing them in my bag! I felt like she didn’t believe me!
