My experience with The Ultimate Back Store was an exemplary one. I suffer serious nerve damage in my neck, elbow, hip, and down both legs. Finding the right recliner proved difficult, yet revealed the extraordinary attention to customer satisfaction that the owner, and genuine nice guy, Gil, extends to every client of the Ultimate Back Store. The first chair I bought seemed perfect, but after using it in my home a few days, I realized it was not the right one for me. (My husband, however, bought the same recliner and still loves it.) Gil took back the chair with no hassles. Then, over a two week period, he loaned me three different recliners, delivering each one free of charge, until I found the right one. He did this without complaint, nor any hint of being disgruntled. He understood my needs, and helped me through this difficult process with grace and kindness. He treated me fairly, and says he’ll sleep well knowing he did right by me. He told me he loves his job, and loves helping people. And you know … I believe him! Go see Gil, and his knowledgeable, friendly sales team. You won’t regret it.

I was in the market for a Stressless recliner and knew there were only a few places I could order it. The manufacture sets the price of their furniture, so when shopping around I was focused on cost of delivery. I was thrilled when Gil at The Ultimate Back Store let me know that, not only would they waive the cost of white-glove delivery, they offer an extended warranty on the chair itself. That cinched the deal. But that's not why I'm writing this review... This particular chair wasn't going to be ready for a few months. During the waiting period, Gil called me periodically to check in. He remembered I'd expressed interest in a mattress and wanted to follow up on that, letting me know about a great sale. Then, when the chair did arrive, he made sure it was delivered the next day, during a time frame when I would be home (not one of those 8-5 windows, something that's actually convenient). I have a lower back issue that causes a disc to swell up and pinch a nerve that creates pain shooting all the way down my right leg. With the extended periods of time I spend driving, this makes things worse. I was referred to Gill and he helped me get fitted with a premium seat cushion and lower back support for my work vehicle. After that, I had gone back in for another visit to get our employee also fitted and ended up buying one of those really nice massage chairs. The times I had gone in there, I tested the chair and Gill knew just the right settings to alleviate the pain in my leg. I now use this chair daily and have reversed the pain making it non existent and am back to playing tennis...
