Warhammer — Local services in Sacramento

The Lake Crest Village Warhammer store is really nice clean well organized fully stocked with everything you could need. The most standout feature for me was the welcoming attitude of the customers. I have never been to Warhammer before, and as a newcomer, I was a bit overwhelmed, but fortunately a couple of regulars were quite eager to assist me and walk me through everything.

Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for the staff. I spent over 20 minutes in the store and I was ignored and not offered any assistance. Coming in as a beginner hoping to learn more about the beginner program, I would expect a shred of support. It was somewhat demoralizing to notice that the patrons were far more helpful than the actual store employee.

There is certainly room for improvement in terms of their service, especially with those amazing customers, but I do wish the staff becomes less apathetic in the future, especially regarding first...

The manager of this shop gave me an important lesson on supporting local business and game shops like this and I can't help but think about it from time to time. I didn't leave that day buying something but I certainly came back within a week to make my purchase. It's been a couple years and I still havent had time to complete the set but I break it out and complete something from time to time to relax. Each time I do, I think about the manager who kind of gave me a lecture and how much I needed that. How much that kind of stuck with me and how it lead to the simple realization that supporting shops like these is the only way we not only get awesome stuff like this locally but we get an actual community to hang out and play with.

The hours can occasionally be hit or miss, but that can happen when unexpected things come up. With that being said, Hogan greets every customer with enthusiasm and respect.

Whether you're new to the hobby, an experienced veteran, or a returning player from a long break from the franchise, He is always happy to answer any questions you may have.

The store continues to prosper due to Hogan's excellent customer service. I advise stopping in and taking a look around whether you're a seasoned veteran or just curious about the hobby.
