VFW Post 3484 — Local services in Saddle Brook

Had a very difficult time working with this Vfw specifically with Amy. It was never communicated properly to us that we cannot serve non Alcoholic drinks at our own party. My mom and I had both gone to speak to her and we both were not aware of this. What had been communicated was that we cannot bring alcohol and has be bought from their bar which is what we did.

My family went the day before to set up and noticed that a lot of the chairs were broken as well. They sat them aside and continued using the chairs that weren’t broken. During the day of the party, I got a call regarding this matter from Amy screaming at my wedding event. I explained to her that it wasn’t properly communicated and apologized for the miscommunication even though it wasn’t through my end.

They then refused to give me back my $300 deposit and blamed us for broken chairs as well. Speaking to Amy about getting the deposit back was very hostile and when I told her I will be leaving a review her response was “ If I could leave one for you I would too” Extremely unprofessional of someone who works with veterans and for an organization that stands for respect. The VFW Post 3484 in Saddle Brook is very nice. The event room is very nice and clean. The ladies' room is very pretty and clean. Overall, my experience at this venue was very favorable and I would most certainly recommend it for private and intimate family/friend events. I couldn't take more pictures due to privacy.
