Taste of Asian — Restaurant in Lodi

I really do not know the atmosphere since I did do delivery so I just gave five stars for that. I have to say the food was pretty good. I usually go to Lodi china gourmet for many years , but they have been changing their sauce and portions. I came across this on yelp and I have to say I am shocked I really expected it to be just okay or bad and it wasn’t. The garlic sauce was amazing, the egg drop soup was great which many places do mess up something like that. The Fried scallops were and everything else I got. Only thing that kind of pissed me off was that they forgot my egg roll. I did the dinner combo and I really wanted an egg roll… I would have never spent an extra 3.50 for soup if that was the case. It either egg roll or soup with the combo I got the egg roll and then added the soup for an up charge. I never got the egg roll and this usually happens to me where ever I go my food tends to be the one that’s messed up. Then again it’s just an egg roll. I could be overeacting But at the point I would have saved $3.50. It’s the first time we ordered and it did take a while but I’m sure they were very busy. No matter what, I will def order again and cannot wait to try what else is on their menu. I just needed to atleast review since it’s very hard finding good Chinese in this area, and I would like others to know this is a very tasty Chinese place. Also they gave us all tons of sauces without even asking which was def a bonus. I was very excited to see the hot mustard for my soup!!! prices...

Very rude owner. I ordered from Uber Eats and they called me about a mistake on the website for a lunch special that they were going to charge me extra because the website was wrong. I informed them the website stated for their sushi special 2 it stated you had 3 options for any sushi listed. When they called they said their menu it states only 2 rolls for that item so I simply said we would pay the difference and my boyfriend asked for a can of soda as compensation for the misunderstanding. The owner then said she's not making any money on it and she just canceled my order all together. I told her we were willing to pay for the extra roll but she just said she was canceling the order so she lost us as customers. I hope she respects the rest of her customers and changes her attitude and her menu on Uber to be correct and not falsify her menu just to call and charge her customers for more. Smells like...

This is a very good place for high quality and inexpensive sushi. I’m a sushi freak. You have to know your way around a sushi menu and anticipate a bit of a language barrier on the phone. For example, NEVER order a standard roll and get a hand roll instead. Far more fish for the same price. If you want the real deal like uni with quail’s egg, go to NYC.

The Chinese fare is typical Bergen County mediocre at best. No better, no worse than the typical “Americanized” place. I’ve had far worse in Ridgewood, Hohokus, Hackensack and Waldwick.If you want real Chinese food in this county, you have no option except to go to Palisades Park, Fort Lee and environs.
