There is accessible parking on the side of the diner, and in the back. Entrance has some steps (there is an entrance in the back we didn't enter from that has no steps). We were greeted at the door, seated in a booth immediately, and handed two menus with a specials menu. They even asked if we wanted to be seated at a booth closer to where I was already standing when they noticed I had my cane and leg braces. No rush. Once sat, our drink order was taken. Then when the drinks arrived, we were asked if we needed a few minutes, and since we did, gave us a little time. Order placed, mozzarella sticks, nachos for dinner instead of as an app, hubby ordered a melt with fries, and I asked for a dessert of sugar free cheesecake with blueberries. Informed me it was a compote, and I confirmed that was fine. Asked if I wanted the dessert right away or after, and I said after. Mozzarella sticks with marinara arrived, hot, crispy, melty and delicious. Then entrees-- nachos as dinner and melt with fries. Melt came open-faced, a surprise to hubby-- nachos were missing olives and jalapenos, and I requested them, and hot sauce if they had some. Nachos were generous, once topped with olives and jalapenos (in addition to pico shredded cheese and nacho cheese sauce) I added the sides of sour cream and salsa, and tossed on some hot sauce. It was delightful. Hubby enjoyed his melt, and his fries were crispy outside and soft inside, also excellent. The dessert was a giant slice of sugar-free (confirmed again before it arrived) cheesecake, some blueberry compote on top and side, whipped topping dollops, and a few slivers of almond. Divine. Excellent service, delicious food, reasonable price, and totally worth it. Accessible restroom in the women's bathroom, not sure...
Read moreStopped in for breakfast with my wife and daughter on Thursday morning. The staff was very attentive every on a weekday, we were greeted and seated immediately by staff. DIEGO was our server and will be every time we return. Staff seated the three of us in a very generous sized window booth. A complete and absolute gentleman and professional, very attentive and respectful ..us old school guys still appreciate that. I must recommend, the chicken tenders and waffles with honey mustard on the side. Western omelets, home fries ( real potatoes and delicious) and toast with corned hash. For my little one we got her silver dollar pancakes that were almost the sugar of real ones, and she loved them. Great Diner for little kids, crayons and drawing material as soon as you sit. To cement a great breakfast time with family, on the way out the lovely lady at the counter have my daughter a complimentary sugar cookie the size of a quarter pounder and she loved every crumb of it.
We stopped in today for lunch 7/5/2025 after an awesome 4th. I now fully endorse the bbq pork sliders and green pesto pasta dish as well. The pork sliders were like full sized sandwiches, and they come with a slice on pineapple on each. I know what you're thinking, but TRUST ME, the pineapple is non intrusive, and is actually a perfect flavor infusion with the tangy sweet heat bbq sauce. Crispy French fries to compliment. The green pesto pasta .......I tasted so good, so flavorful, so authentic I had to double check to make sure we weren't in Little Italy down on Mulberry Street for a second, molto bene. This is our new spot, breakfast, lunch, dinner anytime, t feels like home, and you are...
Read moreMy sister comes here all the time for breakfast, and thought it'll be a great idea to come for (lunch/Dinner) SMH, the waiter was in a rush, rude, and couldn't understand what we ask so he walks away saying "yeah, yeah, I got it" Even the people behind me had a communication problem with him, He continued to bring them the wrong drinks and food. Anyhow, he comes back with our starter and it was wrong. My sister immediately got a manager, in which this manager spoke to him not once but 3 times that night, after the 3rd talk he finally slows down, but still lack communication. We had to get utensils and napkins from a different waiter, and had to get new plates, fork, spoon etc because it was stained and dirty. The waiter who took our order had the burger my sister wanted all wrong, he just wouldn't listen to the changes needed due to my sister allergies. The server was frustrated and probably annoyed about the adjustments needed for the burger. Again we would ask questions like do you cook with soy? Because I'm allergic, and the waiter responce, no no no.. rushing then says idk. The service at this time was awful. The manager tried to help by offering us free desert, but me and my sister do not eat sweets, so he offered a drink, very professional from the managing staff. As for the food it taste good going down, maybe because I was famished and didn't eat all day. Next day me and my sister had food poisoning. I'm not sure if I'll visit this place ever for lunch nor dinner. I gave it av2 star due to the...
