This is being posted because I spent weeks trying to get a district leader to call me to resolve the issue, and no one has called me.
a few weeks ago myself, and my family went to get updated vaccines. As we pulled up and parked in the handicapped spot, as my mom is handicapped, we had to wait to exit because a child was standing at the drivers side door of his mothers car complaining to her about something in the store. when the child got into the car, my mom attempted to exit. as she was attempting to exit the woman in the car to the right of us swung open her door, causing my mom to have to close the door on her legs as the doors would have hit each other. I was astonished, asked my mom if she was okay, which she wasn't, and proceeding into the store for our appointment.
entering the store i was behind the woman repeating "ma'am ma'am" she ignored me and went to a worker in the store, then proceeded to the check out counter as i continued to repeat "ma'am ma'am".
i tapped her shoulder and stated "next time be careful getting out of the car next to a handicapped spot, you opened your door causing my mom to have to shut the door on her " this women already agitated yells "i'm sorry" i asked "why are you yelling? that's not how someone apologizes." then the lady helping her, Deanne Sanders, tells me to "leave her customer alone". i stated "excuse me? mind your business this has nothing to do with you". deanne said " that's MY customer". I stated "i'm a customer too."
As i started back toward the pharmacy for my appointment the angry customer turns around and yells "i said i'm sorry i wasn't looking" so i turned around in a stern voice and said "if you were sorry you would have asked her if she was okay" i then continued to the pharmacy and checked in.
when i was checking on my mom i noticed a lady that had walked in with us talking to deanne. Deanne was banging the shelving trying to explain herself as the lady kept saying "i need your managers name and corporate phone number so they can know what i saw today" Deanne kept getting louder as she banged so the lady got louder.
i went up and got between them and told the lady "it isn't worth this, let me ask nicely to see if you she will give it to me". the lady finally turned and walked away yelling "that's your job"
I turned to deanne and asked her for the general managers name. she said "i am the manager". looking at her name tag and seeing she was a team manager i asked again "who is the general manager and what is corporates phone number" she looked at me and said "i'm calling the police" confused as she NEVER asked anyone to leave, and i just stopped a confrontation i said "okay, i'll find the information on my own".
I went and sat at the pharmacy with my family. while my mother was getting her shot, four polices officers came back and surrounded me, while i was on the phone with corporate. now i'm really confused, why so many cops? what did she say?
while talking to the police, the pharmacist took my vaccine back. i told the officers i needed them to make sure the pharmacist came back. first they refused. i literally had to beg them, crying because i'm on chemo therapy and it was required to get my next treatment.
we were allowed to walk out, in fact i went back in, to make sure the cops didn't need anything else. i then sat in the parking lot calling corporate.
I paid to get the police report to see what was said. it said "i threatened her job" and "Refused to leave". well i was never told to leave, no one was, and i never threatened her job. so? what is actually going on? why won't corporate deal with this?
this is absolutely disgusting. was i treated differently because the other customer was rich and i was in sweats because i didn't feel good? did she know the lady? why didn't deanne check if my mom was okay after hearing what happened? i'm really confused but i would absolutely suggest staying away from here......weird stuff is going on and it's not like corporate...
Read moreWell, zero isn’t a choice so 1 star it is. #1 store, I hope you know exactly where what you need is because you will need to find it yourself or find a customer to help. Employees avoid eye contact and hide in the back if you’re seen looking for help. #2 bring a credit card. You will be using self checkout. If you have the audacity to use cash you will be treated like a scumbag by someone who probably didn’t pass the fourth grade. #3 pharmacy. The Techs are polite but the pharmacist are rude, smug and condescending. We’ve reached a time now that speaking to a person in person is a privilege. They let all calls go to voicemail even when I’m the only customer in the store and laugh about it. You will get your return call no less than 2 hours after your initial message was left. I have a demanding job and cannot take personal phone calls. It would be nice to be able to talk to someone when I am able during the day when it used to be their job to take phone calls not make them. The other CVS’s I use have conveyed to me that this is unique to only this branch as many customers use switched to using a branch closer to their work or Dr’s office over the one closest to their home. I have switched all of my medication except one to Walmart or Amazon Pharmacy. Better prices and better...
Read moreI’ve had my scripts sent to CVS my whole life. We moved to Parkesburg 3 years ago and I’ve never experienced anything like this in my life. This CVS is awful. Incredibly long wait times for prescriptions to be filled, long wait times to pick up your scripts once they’re done, and rude employees. They don’t care if there’s one person in line or twenty. They move at the same slow speed no matter what. The final straw for me was last week when I had an appointment to be at, but we had an extra 20 minutes to spare, so I decided to stop at CVS to pick up several scripts. I went inside since the drive thru is always a 20-30 minute wait. There was ONE person at the counter picking up her scripts. I thought, “Awesome! We’ll be fine on time.” 15 minutes later, they were still waiting on her. No one opened up another register. I had to leave empty handed so I wasn’t late for my appointment. I was furious and switched all our prescriptions over to Walmart pharmacy. I picked scripts up from Walmart pharmacy yesterday and it was like night and day. I was done in under 5 minutes, even with 2 people in line ahead of me. I’ll never go to...
