I was looking for STRIDE RITE walking shoes for our God child whom needed support of course to walk. SO after searching and I googled my area and found CONNIE'S CHILDREN SHOP. I phoned got directions. Also it is the god son's 1ST birthday. I HAD TO HAVE A PAIR. The attendant answered the phone.She was warm very pleasant voice very sure of their inventory. And told me YES. I stated I'm on the way. 5 minutes later I'm walking in the door. I'M GREETED AND ESCORTED TO THE STRIDE RITES. Now this is my favorite part. I do not, Again I do not have the child with me. I ACTUALLY HAVE HIS BEAR STYLE HOUSESHOE. THIS STAFF IS SO INFORMATIVE AND EXPERIENCED THAT THEY WERE ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE AND SELECT THE PERFECT SIZE WITH OUT MY God son present. WONDERFUL 🖐🏽❤😄 and I purchased other items a couple of books and a soft cute toy also for him. The service was warm professional as well as welcoming. The assortment is deliciously unique. CLOTHES FOR DAILY AS WELL AS SPECIAL OCCASIONS. I also have to admit I enjoy quality over quantity. It must be reasonably priced. In other words you get what you pay for. THIS CONNIE'S CHILDREN PLACE IS MY NEW GO TO PLACE. I LOVE IT. I ENJOY HANDS ON. NOT STORES ON LINE. HERE I WOULD GLADLY STAND IN LINE. PLEASE VISIT AND SHOP HERE. ITS A GEM. Drove all the way from Toledo, Ohio to shop here for my daughter because I saw they took the trade first card. The first time I came in I got help in the shoe area but not much help in the clothing department I let it slide because it was my first time. I purchased a dress that a lot of glitter was coming off of it and getting all over my daughter’s face and any wear she sat. I told the owner about it all she suggested I did was wash it which I did and this did not improve the problem she didn’t offer me the chance to exchange it for something else and said she hadn’t received any complaints on that dress. When I came back a second time about a month later to return something and purchase more clothing I said I could have used help in a loud manner to a young lady who was cashing me out and she ignored me and I was helped out by an older lady who said those girls are young so I’m not sure what they could do for you. I left a voicemail for the owner and didn’t receive a call back so I had the trade first company contact them and the owner said she I couldn’t do business at her establishment anymore when she could have called me back to let...

I went to Connie’s to purchase a dress for my daughter today and had a fantastic experience! I felt like I’d gone back in time to when boutique department stores for children with attentive customer service and great selection were the norm in towns.

Me and my daughter had a great time choosing dresses and shoes for her to try on. The staff helped us pick out different options that fit her size and my budget.

We ended up partnering as we selected dresses and shoes with my daughter, tried them on, decided whether to keep or pass on them and then repeated the routine like an assembly line. 😂

They carry a large range of quality children’s attire from very affordable to higher end. And most importantly, they were patient. I never felt rushed.

They acknowledged both me and my daughter’s preferences so we both left very happy. She and I both love her new dress and shoes that I bought for her today. I can’t wait to have a reason to go back! 🥰...
