Art of Glass — Local services in Saint George Island

We didn’t get to schedule art class because we didn’t find this place till the day we left! But when I visited, it was so nice. The art work is beautiful.. I highly recommend you take the experience here with your family and children. Crest your own art, using your own sand and shells. The instructor was very sweet. She showed us all her glass art which was sold out when we went, but she had pictures. She does beautiful work!! In the month I stayed on St George Island, I took 3 classes at Glass is Art (it was a windy, rainy month). All three classes were so much fun. Abby and Dev are great teachers who demonstrate techniques, offer advice when asked, and let you go your own direction when you want to. (Abby even brings art therapy into the class to help people overcome their fear of sharks!🤣🤣) The other people in the classes were fun and entertaining. Glass is Art draws in fun folk.
