Went into Spencer's recently to pick up some sunglasses and had a really good experience with one of the sales associates there. (however this is not the reason for my rating) after she had helped me out with the sunglasses her supervisor or manager (not sure which) named Stephi stepped in and started pushing me towards finishing my sales. After checking out I went to go look around at some other things they had around the store in case anything else would pick my fancy. While looking I went back to the sales associate that had helped me with the sun glasses to ask some questions about products (because she seemed like the only friendly one there) while trying to ask questions Stephi came back up to me and rudly interrupted our conversation saying that if I didn't have anything else to purchase that I should just leave the store so that her associates could do their job. (Which the associate was doing, helping me)
Not going to be going back to the store as long as she is there, not professional in any way and can really hurt the store sales. Spencer's in general is a great store but this person just makes the experience not...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI absolutely love the way they handled someone walking into the store who wasn't wearing a mask!!! A million gold stars for that! The state doesn't require us to wear them anymore but a lot of businesses are going by CDC guidelines until further notice, so not every place is mask free now. So employees are STILL asked to tell us when we enter that we need one to stay. They had someone walk in quite quickly past an associate who politely said he still needed a mask to be inside of the store and then proceeded to ignore her. So another employee tried to let him know that he still needed a mask, to which he was rude. So he said something to the effect of, "Well done then I'm leaving." And An associate replied, "Good!" It doesn't matter what the situation, we never are supposed to take verbal abuse as retail employees. So cheers to standing up for yourself and the brand mah dude šš¤ Also they're just doing their jobs y'all!...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThey didnāt speak to us at all, even when my family and I spoke to them. They didnāt thank us for visiting. However, the transaction before us they went all out, asking if they found everything okay and said have a nice day. Itās sad in 2024 that racism still exists. I am a family man who pride myself on unity and embracing differences, but today I felt discriminated against because of the color of my skin. The odd part is when the second cashier walked up, I spoke to him due to how he was looking at my family and I, but he didnāt say anything back. I really like what the store has to offer and just wanted to get a couple of shirts for my 10 year old. I didnāt expect to get treated this way. Iām a general manager and will never allow any of my employees to demonstrate such behavior. This...
