Hi Craig, I'm a customer of The Computer Connection and I want to share with you my experience with Jose yesterday. I called yesterday expecting some phone advise on how to download a book on CD to a flash drive. Jose said to bring down my computer, flash drive and the book and he will show me. He very patiently showed me how to do it writing down each step and when he realized that he had to change it to mp3 format and realizing it would be "over my head" he said to leave the book and flash drive with him and he would do it for me. He saved the day since my wife and I will be driving cross country and we depend on the books on tape to kill the boredom and our new car does not have a CD player (new models do not come with a CD player - went out with horse whips!!). Not sure about their computer services. All I know is the only guy there overcharged me by more than twice the comparative price for a simple mechanical 4T external hard drive I desperately needed in the moment to quickly copy and erase files from a few systems I planned to swipe clean for reinstall, something I do religiously before upgrading hardware. I don't think he knew I was familiar with the reasonable cost. I'm just disappointed with the lack of ethical behavior rather than in any kind of service failure. Maybe they're good at what they do. I simply can't say either way.

AMENDMENT: I'll check the receipt and see if I screwed up with the 'right' business, but I changed the rating to 4 out of 5 based only on my retail experience with the sales guy that I dealt with because he was pleasant and quickly solved my problem and need to find a big enough storage device.
