I bought a washer and dryer from this store over 2 weeks ago. The next day, I ended up finding the same ones in Lowes for less money and faster delivery. I immediately called this home depot and canceled my order. I was told I would have to physically come into the store for my refund. A couple hours later I went in and was told that I had to wait 24 hours to get my refund. The next day I went back in and was told I had to wait for the washer and dryer to be delivered, decline the delivery and then come in for my refund. I asked a manager at that time if that was true and she said yes, it's out of their control until the washer and dryer are declined. The day after the washer and dryer delivery date, I went back into the store and they told me its a Sunday and the cancelation is still pending so they can't do anything. I call in Monday and was told sorry the cancelation is still pending it could take 3-5 days. A few days go by, I call in again.sorry still cancelation pending. It should take 7-10 days. At this point I ask for help from management. All I get fro. Them the next couple days is we don't know what's happening, the I.T. guy is working on it, there is nothing we can do. Then I go 5 days without hearing a word from them. I went back into the store yesterday and was told the SAME THING! Sorry the cancelation is still pending. I say look, I'm running out of patience. I'm told something different every time I come in or call in. This is getting ridiculous. The manager then has her customer service representative call the I.T. guy infront of me and he tells her 7-10 days from now they should have it figured out and of I don't hear anything by then to call again at that time. I said, that does not work for me. I've been told 7-10 before and I want a for sure day now. The customer service rep asks him to talk to me and her told her that he's not allowed to talk to customers. (Yeah right, he just doesn't want to.) I am now told again that there is nothing they can do. I ask for a phone number for their regional manager and they said they best they can do is have me call the online home depot. I called that number before I left the store and filed a complaint with this location. But was still told they don't know how to get my money back to me. $1600 and no one can get me my money back. I hate to be this person, but I'm not being taken seriously. We do home builds and flips and have given Home Depot thousand and thousands of dollars and some how our experiences with them keep continuing to get worse. This was the last straw. I will never purchase something from home depot again. I highly recommend not buying...
Read moreThey have a survey on their receipt asking patrons 'Did we nail it?' I'd say 'yes you did!" IF it is defined as ignoring me and by making me feel like an unwelcome leper who they actively dismissed as I approached the staff with one question. Honestly, I watched two employees on separate occasions literally make eye contact their smiling & welcoming faces becoming more of scowl and cold shoulder only to give me the once over and turned 180 degrees the other direction walking away as I was half through asking my question. Others had a good chuckle with fellow employees at my expense. The customer service/cashier offered to help check my order out only to throw glances at other employees behind me as he quickly and coldly bashed my 5 items for my small plumbing project into a bag. My entire experience was over 45 minutes of my standing in the plumbing isle looking for white plastic washers used in the connection piece of each section of pvc pipe underneath the kitchen sink, some plumbers tape and the rubber pipe connection piece worn metal synches to bridge two pipes. Not one volunteer to help me with my questions. Instead, I left way later than I could afford and with washers nearly correct for the project way hand. So yes, you 'nailed' the last nail in the coffin that was once Home Depot's adequate costume service replacing it with the small town, peaked in junior high school, ignorant and intolerant, angry ex football players who have done nothing since successfully catching the game winner in their long forgotten now trivial Friday night life event who has excessive mouths to feed at home and can't muster a lick of kindness to help those of us who need 5 seconds of their time to point us in the right direction. What else are they there for? Social hour? I won't soon be going back to Home Dept especially with Lowes and Ace having kind and knowledgeable employees around every corner from this over-rated hardware Walmart to do a...
Read moreI wanted to find something for my dull new laminate floors. I wanted a shine to it because the actual finish was dusty dirty looking. I was told not to void the warranty with too many other products. This product was recommended. Both the floor rejuvenator & mop costs too much $$ for it to work like it did. The mop is impossible to keep from falling apart as it keeps untwisting when you try to maneuver it in different areas. It's really a nightmare to use! I'll stick to Swiffer as much as I don't like them either. The floor rejuvenator liquid was the hardest to use! It made the mop look like childs play! Each time I tried to squirt it, it leaked all over the floor & bottle. It was so messy I put it in a different bottle. It was still super messy! I got it on my hands so many times & the bottle that it became annoying to keep having to clean it before I could spray it, even in the new bottle! I didn't want it leaving marks in areas I hadn't cleaned yet. Messiest worst product ever. The only thing it did produce is a nice shine to that very dull looking floor that always looked dirty. Once I finish all of my floors, I'm tossing the mop & whatever is left of the rejuvenator. I'll find another product that has a better bottle with nozzle that doesn't spill, leak or spray where I don't want it. I don't recommend this product. Stick to the usual household products. I also don't like cloths I have to constantly wash. If I don't have enough laundry to do then I can't wash the cloths!!! Also means I have to put off cleaning!!! Stupid idea & horrible product that's not easy to use! It's making me re-think wanting laminate floors in any home I buy. They look nice but don't shine even a little. They also build up static & can be some what hard to clean. I don't want wood because it scratches too easily. Tile is tough to keep up with grout lines too. It's hard to decide especially given I...
