I was disappointed with Pizza Factory. I ordered a small salad and was charged $1 over the amount listed on the menu board. When I noted the discrepancy I was informed that the menu board was wrong and no effort was made to honor the posted price. I was already irritated and then found the Alfredo sauce on my linguini to be tasty but barely warm.
I wish there was a way to continue this dialogue outside the public forum, but I don't know of one so here's my response to the owner's reply. Not only did I not make a mistake about the menu board, the cashier herself explained to me that the board was in error and needed to be changed (but, didn't offer to honor the price on the board). I was there at dinner time and knew the lunch special didn't apply. The ironic thing is that I ran into this once before and was informed by a member of the staff, that the person that took my money made an error, but made no attempt to rectify the error. That's the reason that I questioned the price the second time through before paying. I should have left, but we were hungry. My wife and I only live 1/2 mile from the restaurant and go there frequently for convenience. I've always been happy with the food (or wouldn't go back), and I've been impressed with the friendliness of the staff and left a good tip even though it's mostly self serve. These past two visits resulted in no tip at all and it's clear staff have never heard the concept that the "customer is always right". It's apparent that management hasn't...
Read morePizza Factory Express serves up some seriously good pizza—the kind of cheesy, satisfying comfort food you crave on a Friday night. However, when planning your meal here, there's one critical piece of advice: make it a to-go order. The quality of the pizza, breadsticks, and their lunch deals is fantastic and definitely earns five stars. But, the "Express" model means the focus is heavily on quick service and delivery, which comes at the expense of the dining area. The dine-in setup is often too small, too crowded, and too noisy to be genuinely enjoyable. During peak hours, tables are scarce, and you might find yourself constantly navigating around the queue of people waiting for their pickups. It can turn a simple family dinner into a stressful, cramped experience. To fully appreciate their delicious, fresh-baked pies, the best strategy is to order ahead for pickup or delivery. This way, you get piping hot pizza and can enjoy it in the comfort of your own space. You'll avoid the congestion and get straight to the good part: the food! In short: The pizza is excellent, the dine-in experience is forgettable. Stick to takeout orders only and you won't be...
Read moreI felt compelled to write this review to make sure the awesome staff had no misunderstanding about our visit yesterday. My husband and I came in around 4:00 pm. on Saturday. We ordered a garlic twist, garlic cheese bread, and a couple smaller pizzas. When we sat down, a toddler in the restaurant started screaming her lungs out every few minutes because her sibling was teasing her, and their mother was doing little about it. The scream echoed a lot because of the design of the restaurant. After finishing our garlic twist and bread, we couldn't stand the screaming any more, so I asked the servers if we could get our pizzas in to-go boxes. A few minutes later, a sweet server brought us our pizza and said, " We're so sorry for the wait!" We just wanted the staff to know we did NOT leave because the pizza was taking too long. (They were deep-dish, so of course they take longer). We had a long week and needed a calmer dining experience, and we did not expect the staff to say anything to the mother. The food was great (though pricey!) and the staff was professional and kind. They all deserve bonuses for having to listen to the screaming longer...
