We will never forget our experience at Lift Up Thrift Store they became an unforgettable part of our wedding story. Just after our ceremony, my husband realized he had forgotten his belt (oops!), so we rushed into the store just a few blocks away from the library, hoping to find one quickly.
What happened next completely floored us. As soon as the associates found out we had just gotten married, they showered us with congratulations and warm wishes and then, in the most touching gesture, they gifted my husband the belt. No charge. Just pure kindness.
We were honestly speechless. In the middle of all the emotions of the day, their generosity and warmth filled our hearts even more. That small moment meant the world to us. It was more than a belt, it was a reminder of how good people can be.

It is a safe place to bring your children into and has some real treasures. The Pastor does some informal chats from time to time with community members while you are shopping around and it seems to serve a greater good for the community.
