United States Postal Service — Local services in Saint Johnsbury

As others have stated, you may or may not receive your packages or other mail. If they do answer the phone, (I've usually had to call the general main US Postal Service line to speak to someone,) St Jay Post Office acts as though you are hassling them. Packages meant to be delivered to you might be delivered to someone else, because they put the parcel locker key in the wrong box. There has been mail theft at my apartment complex due to these kinds of issues. Or the postal worker will simply throw the packages up on top of and above all the mailboxes, so that anyone with access to our mail room can steal them. Will not deliver them to your porch. If you deliver the packages, I will not have to call and ask where they are. I don't appreciate being spoken to as though I am a child, being gruffly told: "TIME OUT! You need to slow down!!" when I am on the phone trying to relay the tracking numbers. Honestly, how slow do you need me to speak?? When I finally got a phone call back, about the packages missing, the guy tells me they were on lunch break and could not call, but the key probably was left in the wrong box (DUH that was what I had already explained!) The guy tells me they will get in touch with the driver who delivered and get back to me... tomorrow! I replied, "Well, thanks for your help and I hope no one else gets that parcel locker key in the meantime and steals my packages!" The level of incompetence has been preposterous. had a package shipped from Utah on the 19th the tracking information shows on 25th that it was out for delivery and then the next information shows its forwarded to the address on file.
