I am been a customer with Happy Tree service since 2014, when I noticed that five ten foot tree limbs were dangerously over my house,A/C and a neighbor roof and I was scheduled for major surgery in one week so I was in a panic Steve, said no problem we will be there tomorrow, what amazing job they did. They came each year for trimming but in 2019 I once again realized that I had a problem but need to talk to Steve the owner he is a licensed Arborist so Wendy contact him and he came out to talk to me and I said is this tree leaning or am losing my mind, he such a gentleman and said no Miss Sweet your not losing your mind yes this tree is leaning it a real old tree,it has fungus growing up and around the tree, little did I know that termites also taken up residency in the tree. So he advised me to have it removed no permit required because he is arborist and this a dangerous situation. Just two weeks ago I have one tree left out front of my house I noticed many branches blending in and around the wires that go to the light poles, I contacted Duke Energy and they said just have a licensed Arborist tree company contact us and we will turn off the power to the line. So I called Happy Tree service again it's been a whole year since I seen Steve,Sam,Craig, Jacob plus Wendy she runs the place. So Steve ( owner) came out we scheduled for May,5,2023 Duke would drop the lines this is a really young tree extremely healthy it was comforting to see my tree family again they work together they are a great team clean after everything, they are like my family I have pictures. I’m really pleased with the stump grinding Happy’s did for me. I left a voicemail and minutes later I received a text asking how they could help me. Initially, I didn’t think texting was the most professional way to get an estimate for stump grinding. However, I was able to send photos of the stump i needed ground and got the quote minutes later. They were able to schedule me for the next morning and text me when they were 30 minutes from my house. When they arrived they surveyed the area and noticed I had another smaller stump close by. They offered to take that one out as well for a quarter of the original quote. Their robotic stump grinder made quick work of the stumps. I told them we were planning on installing a concrete patio slab near the biggest stump and needed to be sure no stump remained 8 inches below the surface. Steve said he set the robot to grind 15 inches down and sweep 70 degrees. There’s nothing but dirt there now lol. The job was done in 30 minutes. They cleaned up and that was it. Very professional, reasonable, extremely knowledgeable, family owned & operated. I’m sure I’ll using Happy’s again...

I have 2 massive trees on my property- one is a almost 50 yr old Magnolia so you can imagine how big she is and another was like a massive massive oak tree that pretty much covered my house went into my neighbors and was just HUGE. So i started the journey of getting quotes and researching the right company for me, after getting several quotes I came across Happys, they had great Google reviews so I figured one more quote wouldnt hurt - the owner came out even though it was raining and gave me the best quote I had gotten. He is also a certified arborist- had great reviews and so we booked it. They arrived when they said bright and early at 7am and by noon the HUGE tree was done and gone and the Magnolia was trimmed up. They are an extremely efficient crew. They move fast. They do an incredible clean up job And overall just absolutely freaking amazing!
