We were very excited to be a vendor at this event. Unfortunately they are not welcoming to have out of state vendors support their local community. After spending the time applying to become a vendor I was sent information explaining that I would be required to pay $2,000 to sponsor their event in order to have a vendor booth. This cost is almost 10 times the amount normal vendors are asked to pay to support the community. This information is not on their website and is hidden until you’ve already invested time blocking out dates to make sure your available while you wait on them to respond with a response that is not feasible compared to their local business cost. I commented on Facebook where they were posting about people applying to become vendors. I mentioned the facts. It costs a $2,000 sponsorship if you are out of state and the beware to not waste your time applying and waiting if that’s something out of state businesses can’t do. They deleted my comment.
