Spa Beach — Attraction in Saint Petersburg

Take note of photo's you don't see people swimming! There's good reason!! I certainly wouldn't call this a "beach" muchless spa! The water STINKS a funky gross smell and when we were there had floaties of black, green slime and the edge had a brown green foam. May be an improvement in appearance and give a place to walk about and socialize, but a beach to swim or even a fast dip to cool or get wet.. I say no ... Don't let your kids and same for my dog! So it's a tease beach for me and mine....

The beach is really nice, but there's chunks of construction debris everywhere. I triped on a chunk of cement sticking out of the sand. Felt like I broke my toe, luckily just gouged the hell out of it. I then couldn't get in the water because I had an open wound on my foot. We dug it up.
