I was at the cashier buying bathing suits for my kids all I could not find a smaller one, she asked if I wanted her to have someone check. I said sure thank you. She went ahead and rang me up. I noticed 2 other ppl waiting like frustrated with me so I said. Iāll let you ring up other customers Iāll go back and help her look since they werenāt busy. I go back with the lady and she was very nice. We ended up finding one. I go back up front and now the line is wrapped around probably 25 ppl in mins now. I go to the lady in jewelry playing on her phone. I try explain Iāve got my wife and kid in the car I just bought this you donāt have to exchange it in in a hurry can I just pay for this. (Not listening and I have bought plenty of things at the jewelry counter) Oh no line starts there. Ok, I see 30 ppl in line now Iām just exchanging same sku for same sku or just buying it. I go ask the first register when it opens up. I say excuse me i just bought this instead of holding the line up I paid for it and got out of the way. She stops Mr and says line starts back there for exchanges or new purchases. I said I just bought this and I donāt mind buying another one itās only $20 probably easier just to swap out same sku. Again not listening to a word Iām saying points me to the hour long line (when itās same product same, color, same sku Same inventory thr size was tagged wrong to begin with) I just get ignored like this is 1947 segregation āwe donāt serve your kind go to the back of the lineā no words just points no good deed goes unpunished. If you are waiting for a size check donāt care about holding up the line, donāt worry about anyone elseās time, just wait even if it takes 30 minutes who cares make them wait. They will...

One lady walked off and the other one went back behind the jewelry counter and started putting jewelry away , yet still not saying a work I walked around the counter looking at all the jewelry and wanted to purchase one of the gold chains but wanted to take a look at it first. The blonde headed lady with a green shirt and black skirt still never said a word to me and another lady that asked up and she offered to assist.. The lady continue to ask about a watch and some other accessories in the case which the clerk assisted and again looked at me and never acknowledge me not once. And this is the first TJ Maxx that Iāve had this bad experience in I just felt you needed to know because Iām pretty sure the location once all sales transactions not only the ones that the representatives take their initiative to help they feel like it. I will never shop at that TJ Maxx again and if anyone asked me about that TJ Maxx Iām a tell them that they will need to shop there either. Very poor customer service. I waited up front only to be told had to go to jewelry ( perfectly fine & gentleman associate was great & friendly) so I go to jewelry receiving not over friendly service and sounding frustrated when she had to call for assistance for a customer wanting a purse saying "I'm gonna be here awhile". While walking thru store I thought maybe I was misreading the situation as I shopped for pet treats & new bowls...NOPE I WAS NOT!! As I'm getting my purchases rung up me and associate are chatting when here comes the jewelry lady behind the associate to say to me by the way I have to break all that jewelry up and put it in the trash...my immediate response was WOW really! She then says YES just something to think about in the future...the coordinator helping me said can you go back to jewelry.
So you followed me thru the store to notice I was making purchases and waited for me to check out and then express your displeasure with me & my returns...and if I have this straight your company sets the policy but I should feel bad about your company's wasteful trashing of perfectly good merchandise instead of maybe gifting it...
