Greenlane — Restaurant in Saint Petersburg

Waited a while to try this "new" place, but unfortunately I won't be going again. The concept is alright but the Wrap I had was awful. I got the Ginger Sesame Crunch Wrap, which was so drenched with the ginger dressing it was disgusting. Good thing I asked for more than the flimsy one napkin they initially gave me, and I knew better than to try to eat it in the car! When I opened the box to look at it I could see the wrapper was already wet. Usually a Ginger dressing is a little thicker, but not what they used. It was thin and liquid, and honestly they put enough for like 4 wraps! They don't cut the Wrap in two, and I can see why. As soon as you bite it, everything starts to fall out. I cut mine in half at home and ate on a plate, and I can't imagine eating one in the car. The second half was sopping wet by the time I finished the first, but I may eat it later without the wrapper part - mixed in with some of my own greens at home as a salad. WAY TOO MUCH DRESSING, A STUPID AMOUNT. And I noticed on the menu, it costs EXTRA to have your dressing "On the Side". Also there was too little tofu which was bland anyway and the whole thing was wrapped in a really bland chewy wrapper which became really wet from all the dressing. Yeah, not impressed - at all....

EDIT: I've returned several times and the growing pain issues I originally described have been fixed. Thanks for the hard work! 5 stars all around.

I love the Greenlane location in South Tampa, and I am super excited to have one in St Pete now. Unfortunately they still have a few growing pains to work out at the new location. During my first trip to the new location my dressing was frozen and my avocados were already brown... obviously cut and packaged the day before. I haven't had this experience at the other location so I am hoping that the St Pete location can step up their quality to the same level.

I am tentatively giving 4 stars while hoping the quality improves. If it does, I'll edit it to 5 stars. If it stays the same (let's hope not!) I will lower the stars to 3. The staff were very nice and fast, so the issue definitely isn't with...

I have watched this location get built from the ground up and when they opened I was excited to give them a visit. The whole place is clean and brand new, it has a drive through and a walk up window. Im close enough that I can walk from my apartment and find the whole experience very convenient. The service has been good and friendly, but there have been some issues with my food orders that tells me the BOH needs more training. The food is really good and fresh. You get a good value for your dollar and there is a nice variety of salads and dressing combinations to choose from. All in all I like this location and will return, and I hope that they can figure out how to make the salads to order and not mess up small customizations like extra chicken, or giving me my avocado...
