Elizabeth Renea's Bridal — Local services in Salem

Cannot be trusted with ordering bridesmaid dresses. I ordered on two separate occasions, first for my own wedding and second for a wedding I was in... The order for my bridesmaid dresses literally never made it to the manufacturer.... My girls paid for the "never ordered" dresses though.... 1 month before my wedding, when they should have been in, we found out the manufacturer never received the order.... Elizabeth Renea's could offer very little to rectify the situation other than giving my girls their money back... And I was stuck paying rush fees via a different company to get dresses for my girls. Incident #2, 6 months later, my friend wanted us to get our bridesmaid dresses for her wedding from Elizabeth Renea's.. I was very hesitant.. With good reason.... There were only two bridesmaid dresses to order... Easy right? You would think, but instead, they got the styles and sizes completely backwards. So I wound up with a dress a size too small for me. Upon picking my dress up, they knew that THEY had made the mistake but offered no other option to me other than to take the very ill-fitting dress and be on my way. No exchange, no return, no refund. Just a $200 dress that doesn't fit me. I cannot and will not recommend this shop, except perhaps that the Better Business Bureau take a look at them.

In response to dress shop: If you want to get technical about singing for the proper style and size at time of purchase, your records will show that the dress I purchased was a Bill Levkoff style 485 in a size 8. That is the dress that I purchased and signed for. That is also the dress that you let the other bridesmaid walk out of the store with. While that is what I purchased and signed for, that is not the dress I ordered. I ordered a Bill Levkoff 484 in a size 8. In YOUR ordering process, YOUR sales associate mis-ordered, but it was MY fault that I didn't catch it, and signed for it. Then when the dresses come in, you send the dress that I purchased and signed for, home with the other bridesmaid... Once again, I reiterate, I was truly never offered any other option upon pick up... Even when I tried to return the dress, nothing was ever mentioned about a corset option. Only after writing this review, was any other option ever mentioned... Truly poor business and lack of responsibility. Of course I bought another dress, it was wedding week and I couldn't just sit on my hands. You may claim that this isn't the norm for your store, but forgive me if I don't believe you, when 2/2 times I have purchased bridesmaid dresses from your store, I have had this horendous pattern.

I come from a family who owns a small business myself, we know what it means to take responsibility for our mistakes and sometimes even eat the cost in some situations --especially reoccurring situations with returning customers... Such a shame not all small businesses share the same...

There are only great things to say about this fantastic, family owned, local gem. Owner and other staff are friendly and willing to go the extra mile to make your special event perfect! I purchased my wedding dress from Elizabeth Renea’s and could not be more pleased with my choice and experience! Plenty of dresses to choose from in my price range and size. I am not the tiniest of girls and was nervous about finding a dress for my figure, but during my appointment they made me feel so comfortable AND beautiful. I highly recommend! (Sent my best friend for her dress and she also found the perfect fit!)...

This is a jewel in Salem. We were at lunch at Ricky’s and my fiancé suggested that we go across the street and look at wedding dresses. Honestly, we didn’t expect to find what we did. Excellent 5 star treatment, excellent selection and great customer service. We were given immediate and ultimate attention. After my love tried on numerous dresses, she came out with the “one”. It made me cry at the moment they opened the curtain and I saw her in the perfect wedding dress. The staff there were fantastic and so helpful.
