
More than half of my experiences on this amtrak, have been ... Unfortunate. And that isnt a good thing. I would expect trains to be on time, buildings open for those who have to be dropped off earlier than scheduled... Ect. But apparently its too much for them . every time ive gotten on , it has always been 2 to 3 hour delays with no warning ahead of time to let me know ( even with texting availability) . one time i woke my hole family up to say good bye and the train didnt leave until 9am (train was supposed to leave at 5:45am)!!! Read moreI bought tickets to Salem and had them refunded and changed because I needed a different time. I got the receipt in my email for both return and new paid for tickets. The driver scanned my ticket I walk on he calls me out tells me I need to get off. Calls the desk guy over and out extremely says Her ticket says it’s refunded You need to go inside . Read more"Friendly Service" I wouldn't know. They provide a number that gets you to a national hotline. You can't call the Salem station or the Portland station. Asking local questions to a local person isn't possible. Answering a phone call is too much for this thriving service. They're way too busy to entertain the notion of answering a technology that's over a hundred years old. I want to ask, "is there a bike rack? Can I lock up there?"
