After coming into the store and being greeted I and my friend was asking to look at different items and the gentleman did not offer more assistance than asked for and was very short in his replies which came off extremely rude. Another customer came in and instead of asking us to wait while we were just looking at items and not making the other person wait it took me suggesting to help the other person and I would let him know when I was ready and he finally did just that but we could overhear him being rude to the other person. While requesting him to grab items behind the counter to look at for purchasing he had made a remark to not lean on the counter which was kind of mind-blowing considering there was no extreme reason for that as I did not have my whole body on top or against the counter nor am I a heavy or big person. As I tried to ask for different items to view his demeanor seem to get more annoyed and became snarky in his remarks. I will say I asked for an item after I had made my purchase and I was extremely surprised and mind blown when he grabbed it and gave it to me at no cost and that was extremely nice and he did not have to do that and it was completely out of character from the time we walked in from the time we were just about to walk out so that's where he's getting a two-star review and not a four or five. Feedback is a gift and I hope that he takes us as a constructive criticism and improves versus getting pissed and saying whatever because I am not a complainer and really wanted to just share the experience on a customer's point of view and possibly he might have been having a bad day but again the owners need to be aware of how the customers experience was versus how his day was. He asked me for identification when I said I would be paying with Visa card. I explained very calmly that it isn't a required condition of purchase. Although he can request it i as a customer do not have to provide it, and he cannot refuse the sale based on that alone. Unless I'm purchasing something that legally requires me to show id he cannot deny the sale based on my refusal to remain private.
