The first time we went in there we purchased a set of couches (completely customized the whole set down to the pillows) $4,000. Our sales person told us it would take 8-12 wks to get our couches in what he failed to tell us was the actually time line of things. He was just focused on making a sale. It took us 4 MONTHS!!! To get out couches and in that time frame we periodically called the store me and my husband both always spoke to different people never the same one. Each time from different people our estimated delivery date would change by minimum 2-3 wks. Finally when the couches got delivered to the store it would’ve taken another 2 weeks waiting on them to delivery. Finally me and my husband said enough is enough took our own truck and went down there to pick them up, when we got to the store the sales person who originally helped us didn’t even recognize us. He later then told us “yeah your couches aren’t at the store they are at the warehouse”. After we called them 6 hrs prior telling them we are coming tonight to pick up our couches. So we drove to the warehouse. Inside the warehouse was everyone’s furniture wrapped in plastic SITTING IN PUDDLES OF WATER. The warehouse looked like someone personal shop with stuff just stacked on top of each other thrown in there. Most of the furniture sitting on the ground was sitting in about 2-3” of water. The guys at the warehouse said we don’t have your couches here they are on the truck back at the store……at that point I was so disappointed in the customers service and more we paid $4000 for product and this is how the service is….we got back to the store and finally found the truck that had our couches on it. When the two warehouse men began to unload it THEY SET OUR WHITE COUCHES DOWN IN DIRTY PARKING-LOT PUDDLES LIKE IT WAS NOTHING. Me and my husband began to drop everything and try to start holding our couches out of the water while they did nothing. Fast forward 7 months we needed a bed frame now the quality of the couches are amazing and because of that we figured give them the benefit of the doubt they are a new furniture store. Well we go in there March 25th….buy a $2,000 bed set. The salesman was the same one who helped us last time. When we asked how long it would take he said 2-5 weeks. Me and my husband already figured adding another 2-3 weeks to that considering our last experience…..well that same thing happened with the couches we waited till time hadn’t heard anything from them so we called both times me and my husband had called it was different people, and again they all told us different stories and time lines. At this point now we are hitting June 1st. 2 MONTHS. We my husband got ahold of a manager who was on shift he told us “I can give you a refund but I would just hate do to that since you’ve already waited this long” my husband again told him I want my money back. The manger proceeded to say well memorial wknd backed shipping up. I consider that a poor excuse since we order the bed set in MARCH. finally he says okay well the store owner has to be the one to write the check that person will be there in store tomorrow. Fast forward to the next morning I called the store before going down there to let them know I will be there soon. And best you couldn’t guess it I talked to another person. That person proceeded to tell them they don’t know if the store owner will be in today or not. I told that person me and my husband were instructed by your manager yesterday that she will be in. He goes we still don’t know I can call you when they get here. Read moreWell the purchase process was very easy, I'm still waiting on the delivery and setup. I will leave a updated review after that. Update great service and setup from delivery people, but wrong nite stand. So I called the American Furniture and told them about the nightstand and they said that their sales associate must of told me wrong, but that I would have to pay additional cost for the piece that I wanted, that she said came with the nightstand. I guess it was a two-piece nightstand. I specifically told the salesperson that I wanted that all that whole thing, exactly how it was displayed. She said yeah ok that this is how much that is, I reminded her that I wanted it with the shelf, because I could put my C PAP up there. She said yes and she said she ordered that for me. But when they get here that's not what I got!!! Now they will not fix anything to make it right. So I wouldn't buy nothing from them nothing they're untrustworthy they lie and then they don't back up their sales person's or do nothing to make it right. He just threw their salesperson right under the bus and said it was their fault and she told me wrong, and that's out of a manager's mouth. I asked to talk to another manager and he refused and I talked to him I wanted to talk to the owners and he refused he was in no way wanting to fix anything. Read morePLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not buy from here...you will REGRET it. Here's why: they offer no information unless u ask, no refunds, not all furniture has a warranty unless u buy one, and my couch (with a warranty) fell apart in less than a month. Remember, ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS...my couch started falling apart in less than a month, the couch they offered in exchange off the showroom floor came with no warranty and I was told (only because I asked) that I could not bring it back even if it fell apart in a week. It was after I asked this question that they decided to replace my couch with a new one. I had to plea my point to get a couch with a warranty. Both ladies at the desk assured me the replacement couch was the same size as the original couch I originally chose. Because of their reassurance, I agreed without seeing the couch in person to allow them to order it. I had to haul it and put it together only to find out it is not the same size, it is smaller and feels like I am sitting on board. They now do not return my calls or texts and I have been crying and stressed over this experience and now have lost more than 1800.00 dollars and left with a couch that is not worth more than 500 dollars and way too tiny even for me at 140 lbs. They insisted upon delivery of the first couch that i leave a rating on their site before they left my house. Now I know why...they get one star and that is only because they leave no options...
