Been going here for about 4 years as its close by our new home. A few days ago i get a blizzard. It obviously wasnt right, ( no upside down flip) but they were busy so took it home to my wife. The blizzard was so sloppy that whe she pick the cup up the blizzard went everywhere. I returned it. A manager (?) Her name was Chrissy. She said some of the kids dont know how to do blizzards when an extra item is added, then made a new one. Since it was run on a debit card, i requested to be comped a blizzard next time. Chrissy said. Sure. Last night I go to get my wife her free blizzard and to buy a milkshake for myself. I tell her Chrissy approved it. The gal said she was there there that night and Chrissy made a new one. I agreed buy she didnt know about the free one and needed to talk to Chrissy. I understand. She returns to the front counter, and says yes it can be made. The drive-through was busy last night, the kids were working hard and I praised the hard work. This is while I was waiting while Chrissy was being contacted. So while I'm waiting a gal in a green shirt comes from the back of your restaurant. Scolds me like a 3-year-old for "back talking" to her employees and told be to leave. I say I will when my order is finished. Green shirt goes away to back of store, first employee comes to me a few minutes later, says she is not serving me and aske me to leave. I ask why, she tells me I was rude to her girls. But ai was not. Im almost 62 I have no reason to "back-talk" anyone (let alone some kid fixing my food). Anyway, I leave look for a complaint number or franchise owner name on the door but couldnt see one. So I go in to ask for the owners name. Im told to find it on Google. So here I am not finding a name, but heyI will leave this review. I left they threated to call the cops on me. Yeah lets waste taxpayer's money! I was going to take my money to a different DQ. But no, I was a paying customer that was unjustly kicked out of your store. I called your DQ. The person who was helping me answered. I asked her what happened and why. That when she tells me one of the employess said that I told them they wernt working hard or something. No i actually was praising them. She agreed to make my order if I returned. I did. I apologized to the gal who misunderstood me. Not once did I disrespect anyone of those hard working kids, yet this old guy never felt so humiliated in my entire life. Oh and who is the mysterious green shirt gal? She was very unproffesional and rude to me. Please dont give me a cookie cutter responce, I've read them. There are some not good reviews here. Read moreWe dropped by for ice cream. The person who took our order was obviously new. I'm not sure how experienced any of the crew was.
We went through the drive-thru. They weren't very busy and there wasn't a line, only 1 car in front of us. They were quick to take our order.
I asked if I could get some chocolate put into my cherry freeze and was told no that they wouldn't do that. That was disappointing. So we got a regular cherry freeze.
We got a blizzard and a shake which were made the way we like them.
When they made the freeze. It was obviously a training experience as 3 employees worked on it together. They over filled the cup which sounds like it would be a good thing, except they only wiped the mess off of the outside of the cup as they handed it to me, leaving a mess under the rim of the lid. Though I tried to lick off the excess, it began to melt and drip all over me, the steering wheel and all over the car. It was a mess. Obviously there's another training experience to be had on this one.
The parking lot was clean.
The employees were friendly but not highly organized.
We were only in the drive-thru for about 7 minutes.
It would have been nice if they would have added chocolate to the freeze as I asked, but overall it was a good visit with the exception of the mistake which led to the mess.
Without the mess and adding chocolate to my freeze would have changed my review from 3...
Read moreWent through the drive thru and the girl who made my sundae was incredibly rude. There were five kids working all standing around laughing while the line was growing. The girl with blonde and black hair in braids made my sundae wrong. She forgot the strawberry and gave me just vanilla and whip cream. When I told her she forgot the strawberry she said she could give me some on the side to pour over everything and I declined because that doesn’t look good and is messy. She slammed the window, dramatically tossed the sundae in the garbage and then remade my sundae. When she gave me the remade one, there was ice cream dripping all down the side which got my car messy. She didn’t even apologize. When I asked the guy who brought my second order to the window how I could get in touch with a manager he said “I don’t know I’m new” and I asked if he could ask someone, he went to talk to another girl who kept looking at the window. Any one of the other 4 people could have helped me but instead they all stared until they realized I wasn’t going to leave.
