The time before I visited this store, I asked for a larger bottle of an essential oil that wasn't available on the shelf. The employee was new and called the owner for help. The owner told me what the price would be and I paid it. The employee rang the purchase up and I paid not thinking to check my receipt to see if it was correct. Yesterday, I went in there to get another essential oil, and the owner told me I took advantage of her new employee and ordered me and my husband out and told us to never come back. At first I thought she was saying the employee overcharged me. But when she got angry, I realized that the employee undercharged me. I was not given the opportunity to defend myself or make up the difference, which I was willing to do. Essentially, she's blaming me for her employee getting it wrong. Such a beautiful shop to browse, even if there isn’t something you have in mind to buy. In my case, I went there seeking a gift for my mom who is currently undergoing chemotherapy. I explained her situation and Katie (I think?! Please correct me if I’m wrong!) was very knowledgeable and explained a few tincture and tea options that she felt would help my mom be more comfortable. It felt like a safe space to chat, and I’m very grateful to have this shop in our community!
