I hired Aime and Lily for hair and makeup services for my wedding in Monterey in August 2024. Aime and Lily are the textbook definitions of true professionals. When I initally spoke to Aime on the phone, she was so friendly, easy to speak with, and really wanted to understand what look I was wanting to go for on my wedding day. I had a trial at Glamology a month before my wedding. From the start of the trial, Aime and Lily made me feel comfortable, asked questions to get a sense of how I wanted the styling, and were both so kind and friendly with my mom and I. I don't get my hair and makeup done too often, but they both really listened to what I wanted and made me feel at ease. The week prior to the wedding, Aime called me and we went over the schedule and last minute details, which I thought was so helpful. The day of the wedding, Aime and Lily arrived early and made it so easy for the bridal party. They did services for myself and four other ladies, including my mother. They brought great energy and they were so fun and warm to be around the morning of my wedding. They are both so kind and we had such a nice morning getting ready for my wedding - there was no stress and I felt like we were in good hands. I felt like Aime and Lily were apart of the bridal group and we all laughed and chatted together throughout the morning. All the women were so happy with how their makeup and hair turned out. I truly felt like such a princess on my wedding day, and I had so many people commenting on how beautiful I looked. My makeup felt natural and enhanced my features; my hair was secured and my bun stayed in all night even with all the dancing I did. I would hire Aime and Lily again in a heartbeat and I hope I get the opportunity to work with them...

Being a photographer, I understand the importance of attention to detail, specially when it comes to important events such as weddings.

I always entrust my clients to Aime from Glamology, she is hands down the BEST hair and makeup wizard there is, she has the experience of working with brides that get married along the coast and it is so important because the ocean mist and the winds are usually not something to be taken lightly.

When it was my turn to get ready for my vow renewal, I wouldn't have trusted anyone but her. She understood very well that I am not someone that normally wears makeup and she listened carefully to my request to make me look as natural as possible. I was glowing, she enhanced my natural features without making me look like a different person, which I was admittedly very nervous about.

My hair was done by Malerie, Glamology's curly hair specialist and again, WOW! my hair had never looked better, what's even better is that despite the strong winds and mist in Big Sur that day, my curls looked amazing for 3 days!!!!

Also, something that I have not experienced with other stylists, is that she takes the time to talk to you about your expectations, she is quick to respond to any questions and very professional.

Glamology is wonderful. Aime recently gave me a cut and color and it’s fabulous. Getting your hair cut during a pandemic has been tough but Aime went above and beyond to fit me In and also maintained an impeccably clean shop. I felt incredibly safe the whole time. My hair also looks perfect. I usually get really nervous going to someone for the first time as I am really picky about my hair but she nailed it. She did a really subtle ombré bayelage and gave me a really flattering cut. I also know Aime from work in weddings. As a wedding planner she is one of my preferred vendors and that’s because every Bride I’ve ever had that uses Aime and her team for their wedding day absolutely love them. They all rave about her and the team and say that they are the perfect addition to their wedding party on the wedding day, like they feel like old friends instantly.
