Citi Trends — Local services in Salisbury

This place sometimes has a good selection of kids clothes. It's usually where I do their back to school shopping but this particular Salisbury location is ratchet and their staff is sometimes not friendly. They had one black gentleman that was a manager and he was incredibly rude and nasty. Today me and my husband and kids went there to buy a few pairs of shorts and jeans. This lady stood there and stared at us THE WHOLE TIME we shopped. Mind you I have plenty of money in my wallet and I most definitely wouldn't think of stealing with all my kids there. I wouldnt steal at all but certainly not with them. I couldn't believe how she was staring at us and made it quite obvious that she was looking. I even asked her were we in her way bc she was stocking pants previously. She said we were not but did not move and continued to stare. I will not ever go back to that...

It was a pretty neat store.. little bit of EVERYTHING, decent prices. Like any clothing store, racks are over ful & not all sizes in their rightful places, but that's almost to be expected. I was a little taken back by their line of "Black Girls Rock" shirts, "Melatin is heavy here", and a few others specifically geared to woman of color.. I didnt see any graphic t's with messages on them geared towards asians, hispanics or caucasians. I am by no means racist, I don't think any store should sell clothing with graphics specifically geared toward race... If anything it should be just toward empowering girls/women in general. Cititrends corporate called and reminded me get my layaway out today and when I went to cititrends in salisbury to get it out today.The manage had put it back .I was upset cause it was for my gkids and couldnt find them nothing else everything...
