Amazing experience. All I can say is if you're running a hair store in NC that's not this place, you better watch out. Their customer service blew the competitors out of the water. I have been to so many hair stores since I moved here and the staff is always unhelpful, rude and the most bizarre people I have ever interacted with. Unfortunately I came prepared with exactly what I needed so I couldnt test their product knowledge. However all it took was me politely saying excuse me and they helped immediately. Generally they seem pretty hands off. They let you browse without being like mall salesmen who ask you a million times if you need help which I prefer. This was also the first time I ever been to a hair store in this state and I felt comfortable and safe. Everywhere else I have gone, they make a stink about you having a purse as if you're gonna just walk around with your wallet out and unsecure in your hands. Everywhere else they watch you like you're a child instead of investing in theft protection, and cant even bother to answer your questions while they follow you. This store was very well lit, very clean and clearly had a great security set up for them to not make you feel less than human. I live over an hour away from the store and was just passing through. When I tell you I found stuff in this store that I never knew I even needed. I went in there with the intention to buy one thing and left with quite a few items. Roughly $50 worth lol. Unfortunately, this place is in the next city over, however the owner did tell me that there was one here but it's on the other side of town. That sucks because if I go to that one I might as well come to this one. This very well may be my new go-to is simply because it's a nice drive and the flea market is on the way 🤣. Staff kinda dismissive & inattentive. They do have an okay selection of braiding hair and beauty supplies, as well as some unique things like oil burners and three needle crochet hooks which are hard to find. I used six packs of hair for these box braids and three to add the ombre blue to the ends. Follow me on IG!
