The layout of Foothill Village and the one business I need to go to are bad. I am handicapped (close to being in a wheelchair). Anyway, Weight Watchers use to be accessible on one level on 33rd South but when it moved up to the Foothill Center they went to the second level. There are three ways to get to the company. One is up approx 20 stairs, one is to take the elevator inside a store that does not open early in the morning, and the last has a pedx crossing at the No, end with one tight lane, driving in each direction and nowhere to drop someone off. It is dangerous for all driving because it's the only place to use a ramp (I don't know about the accessibility at the So. of the mall). One time my foot got caught on the side of the ramp and I fell hard on the cement. I hope WW will change locations, but what's the chance of that, right? (I am now only attending meetings 2x a year because of what a bad situation this is.) In the meantime, FV should take into account all of the people who can not move around freely enough to access all of the upper level of shops. To top it all off, the parking really IS as bad as other people have said here. Hopefully the owners will read this post and can take some of these problems into account and design a better way that is accessible to everyone. I wish I knew how to contact them directly to voice...

Read moreThis is a wonderful little open market outside village. It has many different shops. You have a grocery store, 2 banks, several different restaurants, a few decoration stores, Bath & Body Works, The State Liquor store, a Color Me Mine, a few different Spa's, a Doctor's office, a dance studio, some clothing stores. There is a first floor (main Street floor), a second floor, and a Basement floor as well. Wear a jacket if during the winter time, as it is outside. Parking can get a bit crazy at times. But, there is underground parking as well as a second story of parking. 😉. The Foothill Village is getting an outside makeover. It is going to look very sharp...
